good with chips of all kinds or veggies. This is how we like it, but you may adjust while mixing..just keep taste testing with the type of chips you are serving with, as each adds their own flavours to the dip...I made this one up so it is all Canadian recipe with Mexican ingredients.
So easy to make, only 4 ingredients... it's the super-ultimate party dish! Just a few minutes in the microwave with will make everything gooey and hot...so easy to make. This is so simple to put together and so good, and takes less than 10 minutes to throw together and heat in the microwave! You will be making this every weekend! Prep time includes microwaving time. Feel free to throw on other ingredients like onions and chopped tomatoes after cooking. Got lots of people to serve?... then make up two plates or three or four!
This is a great change from the usual fruit dip recipes and it is so easy to make with only three simple ingredients. It is a recipe from my niece who got it from a friend who prepares fruit trays for a major grocery store. The preparation time is an estimate of the time it takes to prepare the fruit.
Fancy Schmancy BUT Easy Peasy... hehehe Use to dress up a cake, add to a filling between cake layers, top a sweet potato casserole or eat them as they are. These are beautiful and delicious. Fantabulously awesome with my Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting #165880 and/or my Praline Sauce #165874. The Pecan is the TEXAS state NUT! Hmmmm.... I thought that was my dh!....
This savory variation belongs in every serious cook's repertoire. Serve these to a crowd you want to impress! Caution..This makes alot, the two small balls are as big as baseballs! I have been making these for years from a recipe I clipped from a magazine and they are always a hit. Cook time is chill time.
This is a must for any extended family get-together when I double the recipe. I also like this as an accompaniment to grilled chicken or on top of a baked potato. Quick and tasty! (Can sizes are an estimate b/c I don't have them on hand.)
I got this recipe over 10 years ago from a friend at work. Since then, I have always had to make a double recipe for Thanksgiving. There is never any left. Just grab a few crackers and start dipping! I have only made this with an electric skillet. Also, I use the artichokes that are already quartered as they mix more easily than bigger chunks. Fat-free or low-fat mayonnaise is okay and helps reduce the fat content of the dip.
This is "Guac That Rocks!" If you bring this to a party where you may not know everyone, you'll know every single person by the end of the night, because they'll all be seeking you out for the recipe!!
This is one of those recipes that when served to guests you had better have lots of it. It is a real crowd pleaser that your guests just can't stop eating. The beauty of it is that it is so simple to make with only three ingredients. You can double the recipe but use two plates instead of one. You will simply have two appetizers. If you take this appetizer to a potluck or party, spread the mixture on a sturdy plastic or styrofoam plate and you won't have to worry about getting your plate back. My personal preference to accompany this spread is Ritz or rice crackers but use what you like, you won't be disappointed.
