Found this recipe and then tweeked it a bit..makes a lot! These make the BEST icecream cookie sandwiches!!!

    Recipe #180438

Love the nutty flavor and texture of this bread.

    Recipe #180488

This is a realy tastey change from the ordinary.

    Recipe #190323

OK, not birdseed really. Just reminds me of it. We love this for it's nutty flavor. It is a very substancial bread and makes a great piece of toast. I use 1 more T of millet and sunflowerseeds each and use rolled 6 grain instead of oats for us.

    Recipe #152379

I got this recipe several years ago from a dear friend. I have used it almost exclusively ever since. It works great as cinnamon or orange rolls which ever you please. The key is to watch them closely and not let them get brown, or they will dry out. It makes a huge batch and I have never halved them so I don't know how that would work...we just give them away and I have frozen them with good results. I often split the dough in half and make half cinnamon and half orange.

    Recipe #152403

If you like Sally Lunn bread these are perfect for you. They are cake like, just like the bread and very simple to make but the dough is to sticky to handle so just spoon them into muffin cups or into a pan if the shape doesn't worry you. Great plain but adding the herbs will make them something special.

    Recipe #153548

I have looked hi and low for a recipe like this. I am so happy to have found it. Perfect slathered in butter or as a sandwich (grilled is great)

    Recipe #154142

This is my favorite bread recipe (for white bread) It makes wonderful bread bowls for soup. This makes 4 loaves but can easily be halved. I've made half of it into loaves and half into breadbowls too.

    Recipe #141600

These are time consuming but so good! Especially if you aren't close to a good bakery. They make excellent sourdough rolls for sandwiches like french dip.

    Recipe #145149

I grew up with these oh so good bar doughnuts and didn't realize till recently that they are somewhat of a northwestern phenomenon. I actually halved the original recipe because it was so huge, so it does double. Don't use to much flour because it will make the dough tough. If you are feeling really decadent (they are already deep fried after all) I like to fill them with Bavarian cream filling which I get at our Cash and Carry restaurant supply store, or you can make it yourself.

    Recipe #141514

This is a combination of a couple of recipes. I wanted an apple muffin recipe with oatmeal in it and a streusel on top. I also had one with a caramel drizzle so I just combined the best of three recipes! This can be doubled.

    Recipe #141448

This makes 2 very large or 3 regular sized loaves. I like mine just shaped into a loaf and placed on a baking sheet, however I'm sure bread pans will work ok. This bread is very crusty on the outside (which if you don't like that just omit spraying with water) while nice and chewy on the inside. It can be tricky to bake as it tends to brown quickly so I place a foil tent over the loaves after they've baked for 15-20 minutes. (This makes great sandwiches, we like roast chicken and havarti cheese)

    Recipe #140032

My absolute favorite quick bread recipe! I have never had it turn out bad, one time I accidentaly doubled the pumpkin and It still tasted great. It doubles beautifully. Love it!

    Recipe #128666

    Rich, dense chocolate muffins.

    Recipe #64771

This works so nice to zip up a sandwich or try it buttered and placed on a griddle till golden brown and serve with a soup or salad.

    Recipe #126527

I love homemade crackers. You can make them any size and shape and have control of what their flavor will be. These are fun to serve in a basket as an appetizer for a dinner party, but also my kids think they are pretty cool to have at lunch. They taste great alone or w/ a soft cheese spread.

    Recipe #126365

I purchased some buckwheat out of curiosity, and then realized I had no recipes, so the hunt began and this is by far my favorite use for buckwheat! Very light.

    Recipe #126366

I was looking for something different for Easter dinner one year and found these. They are so moist and are great w/ salads or as sandwich rolls!

    Recipe #125532

My mom has made these for as long as I can remember. I didn't know till I was married that sopapillas are usually a dessert. They take a little work and practice, but it is well worth it! If they are made correctly They should puff up with a hollow center. If yours don't puff up like they are suppose to just pile the filling on top like a Navajo taco!!

    Recipe #125540

My kids adore this bread. We use it with chicken curry as the spoon!! It would also work well with any salad or soup. I made this a couple months ago for my mom and dad and they devoured it.This is easily doubled. (For those who do not often work with bread, we add as much flour as needed to get a workable consistency, this is the original recipe I received...I just added more flour to mine.)
