Recipe is originally from the Food Network courtesy of Rachael Ray, but I tweaked it to fit our tastes. Very quick & easy shrimp recipe that's done on the stovetop. If your tastes desire spicy & garlic, then this recipe is just for you.

This chicken recipe is so easy, I hesitated in posting it. But I couldn't find it posted here, and it's so good, I thought I'd share it. It's my favorite way to bake chicken because it's moist and tender every time and the flavor is delicious!

Excellant Italian Chicken dish! Nice to sprinkle a little of your favourite shredded cheese over. from B H & G

My mate Barb makes this wonderful dish brilliantly, even after half a bottle of white wine:) you can add tomato paste if you like, or even chopped capsicum or mushrooms. This dish is fine with just wine and water, but much much better with well flavoured chicken stock. I like to use about 1/2 cup of stock that I get when I do chinese chicken wings. You can use lite sour cream for this dish, but the sauce with most likely seperate, still tastes great though.

My husband loves anything with BBQ sauce so I found this one on the net just for him. It's so easy to make too.

Good "stand-by" meat-and-potatoes meal. This goes over big with husband and kids. Easy, quick, and tasty comfort food.

These were my favorite things on the menu of a coffee shop near me that closed long ago. I've yearned for them over the years but have never seen them anywhere else. I finally decided to make them myself, and they came out YUMMY!!!!

A favorite of my husband and daughter. A few reviewers have mentioned the number of pans used. This is how I avoid that being a problem. After I cook & drain the broccoli, I place it in the casserole dish while I use the same pan to make the sauce. I then pour the broccoli back into the pan to coat it and return it all to the casserole dish. Rinse the saucepan out, it doesn't need to be 'clean' just rinsed, and then use the same pan to make the melted butter and bread crumb mixture. If you use the microwave to cook your broccoli, just use the casserole dish to cook it in. Hope that helps!

I got this out of a magazine called "Clean Eating" This is low in fat and sugar. Both DH and I found it to be outstanding. It may say fry but there is nothing fatty about it. It would also be great on the Weight Watchers program.

Delicious! Yummy caramelized legs, kids love these! So quick and easy and no marinating required. Just prepare the sauce, pour over the chook and pop in the oven! I actually like this with wings better ;-) VERY IMPORTANT TO LEAVE IT IN THE OVEN UNTIL IT HAS CARAMALISED TO AVOID DISAPPOINMENT. Thank you to everyone for their positive reviews! Try adding Sambal Oelek as Chef #27416 has suggested in his review. What a great idea ;-)

I think that in the 50's and 60's every special casserole had "cooking sherry" and "buttered bread crumbs" and parsley. This is another one of my mother's recipe from the big plastic bag. I swear this recipe says it has a "lusty" flavor.

Tired of sandwiches for lunch? Try these little pies instead. They freeze well and pack in lunch sacks well. Make them smaller for appetizers.

Peas other vegetables would also be very nice in this savory pie. Substitute turkey for the chicken, if you wish. From the Southern chapter of the United States Regional Cookbook, Culinary Arts Institute of Chicago, 1947.

The one and only way I prepare Corned Beef. The glaze makes a yummy topping and this will melt in your mouth! I am ALWAYS asked for this recipe, usually by friends that don't like corned beef.

    Recipe #158342

This is a simple and tasty crock pot recipe that as a wife & mother who works outside the home, I have used frequently to the delight of my family.

    Recipe #16805

Crook's Corner is a restaurant in Chapel Hill, NC. This is a dish served at the restaurant and I found the recipe in the latest Southern Living magazine. I made this last night for dinner and my husband and I went nuts for it, it's the ultimate comfort food. Don't let the long list of ingredients throw you off, this goes together quickly and easily.
