My favorite way to eat this is to tear off a chunk of Greek pita, scoop up a heaping helping of hummus & savour, however, many use it as a versatile spread.

I usually make hummus quickly, in my food processor. One day I felt like fussing a little and tried this recipe that I found in a 2005 Sunset Magazine. We really like the added flavor of the roasted garlic.
I like to cook up a package of chicken tenders and add them to this salad for a light supper. Very easy to adapt to your tastes -- take out the veggies you don't like and add the ones you do like. Cook time is chilling time in the fridge.
These are great little desserts to have on the holiday dessert table. Instead of making a bunch of pies, I'll whip up these and everyone can have a lil bit of everything. Tasty pecan pie or pumpkin pie.
