I haven't made this salad yet, but it has an interesting blend of ingredients. Posted for ZWT8 - Australia, from an Australian food blog "Emely's Recipes".

    Recipe #450373

Berry Parfaits Recipe from Festival Foods, a grocery store in Green Bay. This recipe was featured on the local morning news. A perfect recipe for summer.

    Recipe #307745

This recipe comes from The Lyle's Golden Syrup Cookbook, 2008, which was given to me by one of my Cookbook Swap partners! Although you might want to make a substitution, the one great ingredient in this recipe is the GOLDEN SYRUP!

    Recipe #368504

First place winner of the Summer 2011 Dining on a Dollar Contest, this is a quick and easy Mexican influenced omelet. The qualifying ingredients are zucchini, eggs, purple onion, cumin and salsa. Thanks to everyone who tested, reviewed and rated this recipe, I appreciate your time and comments. I have revised the recipe slightly based on reviews during the contest, and have added a step to saute the zucchini and onions prior to adding them to the eggs. Feel free to reduce the number of eggs to suit the number of diners or your personal preferences. Thanks again, everyone! :D *Tink

When I was a kid, my mom would make open faced tuna salad, tomato with a slice of American cheese broiled on an English muffin. Since I didn't like tuna salad or tomatoes, she always made me an egg salad & cheese. My adult taste buds have evolved, and I modified the recipe for dinner tonight, and was thrilled with the result.

POSTED FOR RAMADAN TAG. From http://www.turkishcookbook.com/ NOTE: I just realized almond extract contains alcohol unless there are alcohol free ones around. I would like to know.

    Recipe #387397

A great Iranian breakfast and a good way to get the kids to eat dairy. My daughter loves honey (that's what she would like to eat every morning) so it's a good way for her to have it other than just with butter and bread.

    Recipe #335758

This hearty and delicious recipe was inspired by two recipes: the filling from Recipe #319626 and the sauce from Recipe #214861. We really enjoy this for brunch!

    Recipe #367967

My sister in law made this for me a few years ago, and it is now my favorite pancake and waffle topping.

    Recipe #37023

Most folks are aware of tea eggs, but this has a different flavor. "Red cooking" is slow braising in liquid. The eggs become brown on the outside and very yummy all the way through. Sliced, they may be served solo, or I like them as a breakfast sandwich on toasted bread.

    Recipe #211232

Fresh figs cut into 'blossoms' and filled with honey, yogurt and walnuts! Also see the Lemon Mascarpone and Pistachio variation, below. These fig blossoms make a grand appetizer, or ending to any meal. Food of the Gods and Goddesses!

    Recipe #384973

This is something I whipped up one day because I was not all that much of a fan of squash at the time and I wanted to test the waters... I get rave reviews every time I serve it- even to kids!!!

    Recipe #196812

Not the typical bland, mayonnaise-rich mash you're imagining! The author of "The Soul of a New Cuisine: A Discovery of the Foods and Flavors of Africa" created this version of egg salad that has heat from chiles and paprika as well as soy sauce for a salty note.

    Recipe #311809

This is one of my favorite breakfasts. If you haven't tried Greek style yogurt, it is thick and creamy even the non-fat tastes rich. Paired with granola, honey and a handful of fruit, it's a perfect start for your day!

    Recipe #427550

For ZWT 6. This is an easy and very tasty dish that is great for a brunch. This recipe is adapted from a recipe on Salmonrecipes.net.

    Recipe #426249

These pancakes are served as a dessert in Denmark and the traditional filling is jam and sugar; but you can really add anything to your liking. We also eat them for breakfast. They freeze well for up to 3 months, I place parchment paper between the pancakes and you can easily remove them from the bag even when frozen

    Recipe #323759

This is my sister in law's recipe that she used to make for her kids and passed on the recipe.I enjoy this myself. It can be made into one big pancake or many little one that my daughters seem to enjoy more.
