An adpoted recipe is one that belonged to a chef that no is no longer active for one reason or another, I have adopted them and agree to treat them as my own. I love that I have adopted recipes similar to ones I would have posted it they were not already here. I am working on dressing them all up and welcome any and all comments about the descriptions, preparation steps or cook times.

This recipe is a great meal. You can also add meat or seafood. I got this recipe from wegmans a store chain. We adjusted some of the measurements but it is delicious. Anyone that has tried this asks me for the recipe. ENJOY!

Thaw and marinade your chicken breasts at the same time in this wonderful concoction! Toss it all in a zipper seal bag and throw in the refrigerator. Ready the next day to throw on the grill! The seasonings are a fusion of Asian and SW flavors making it suitable for both catagories in the World Tour.

This is a wonderful dip for crackers, the sweetness of the peppers is mellowed with the spicyness of the garlic. I use one fresh lime for the juice, it works fine. Very elegant looking on a cracker tray and it is also good on veggies.

This is a lovely pasta dish with a creamy sauce. Shrimp and Snow peas complement each others flavors very well. Shortcut note: I keep pesto frozen in my freezer to make this. I put the veggies in a handheld strainer and poach them in the same pot as the pasta is cooking in.

This adoptee is the way we make trout on our backpacking trips, we take corneal and butter packets and hope we catch dinner. Just as easy to make at home, its a taste of the outdoors.
