I used this often when my 3 children were young. It really works!!!!! It is very similar to the pricey OTC formula for nausea. If you are queasy - try it!

You got the sniffles or upset belly, don't reach for a glass of orange juice or that fizzy stuff. That is good, but try pineapple juice instead. It has vitamin C like its orange cousin, but it also has bromelain. Studies have found it is effective in treating upper respiratory conditions and acute sinusitis. The next time you get a cold, make this recipe!contain little or no fat or cholesterol, and provide significant amounts of fiber, digestive enzymes, vitamin C, calcium, and potassium.

My pediatrician gave this to my Mom at least '30-something' years ago. It is supposed to help reduce high fevers, vomiting and settle upset tummies. Gingerale still reminds me of being sick and stuck in bed all day with my comic books.

Make sure you are close to a bed! I made this for my roommate in University when she had trouble sleeping, she had to crawl up the stairs to her bed (no joke):)

Ah, yes, it's 3:00 in the morning; you hear the baby crying. You go pick him up to comfort him and rock him back to sleep when *BLAT!!!* he spews something just about the colour of pea soup all over your favorite nightshirt. Before you set to the task of trying to remove the toxic waste from your brand new carpet, pop into the kitchen to get this stomach-soothing, sleep-inducing, almost sinfully delicious, spicy tea, (which also serves as a great night-cap) remedy going:

I drink this tea almost every day. The peppermint and fennel both calm the stomach and aid digestion, and the fennel is also great for reducing bloating and gas. Just be careful if you're prone to GERD (heartburn), since peppermint can trigger it in people who are susceptible. For a different flavor, you can replace about half the peppermint with spearmint! Spearmint also helps with digestion.

This is an all natural ear drop. It has helped my family with pain due to ear infection as well as getting rid of the obnoxious tickle in the back of your throat when you have a cough. Even for the throat, it is placed in the ear. It coats the "tickle" spot. ;) Cook time is "sit and shake" time.

As the title suggests this is an easy remedy for those all round ills that seem to strike when we least need them! This has worked very well for our family this year and I hope it will for you. :) You can also add the juice of a lemon and even the skin chopped as well if you like for added vit C. I do sometimes :)

We frequently boil this during the cold and flu season. We use it more as a prevention than a cure, but it can help to keep germs down and lessens the possibility of making other family members sick. It also smells great so it isn't a problem to keep it brewing. I put zero cook time because it isn't a set time and is up to the person how long they want it to brew.
