You know which doughboy I mean, the cute advertising icon who appears on those cans of refrigerated doughs. These recipes use canned & frozen doughs in creative ways.

A beautiful dessert that you would never know started with canned biscuits and pie filling. Adapted from Southern Living

    Recipe #97863

When I lived in Germany, the local bakery sometimes would make these yummy little pastries. I was so happy to find a recipe for them in Schoener Essen,a German cooking magazine. However, when I made the original version, the dough was not quite the same, even though the filling was perfect. By chance, I happened to make Sharon 123's Peachy Cheese Danish recipe #84867,and the dough tasted just right. So,this recipe combines the very easy cooking method for the dough from Sharon's recipe and my adaptation of the original German filling. Baby pineapples are very common in Germany, but you can also use regular fresh pineapple if that is all that is available-you just might need to cut the rings into smaller pieces in order to make them fit on the pastries. Also, if you can't find pineapple preserves, try peach or apricot. Quark is a German cottage cheese with the consistency of ricotta.Ricotta is a bit saltier and not exactly the same taste, but works out fine in this recipe if quark is unavailable. Best served warm.

    Recipe #61746

This was posted on a group I belong to. It got many great reviews. Takes 10 minutes to throw together and can be baking while you are eating dinner. Wonderful served warm with vanilla ice cream on top!

    Recipe #214865

This is different and delicious, wonderful to serve for parties and for snacks. If you are a garlic and onion-lover (like me) then add in 1-2 tablespoons fresh garlic with an onion when browning the beef. Any amount of garnishes may be used, the amounts listed are only estimated --- my recipe #76616 works well with this :)

    Recipe #116998

These are so delicious. I saw these made on a Pillsbury Bake-off Special (the original version of this recipe won its category) and immediately gave them a try the very next day. We all ooohed and aahhed at how pretty they look and then the taste....so scrumptious. In the contest, the original version called for using a tube of Pillsbury French bread, which she baked up fresh and sliced...I have done this and it is a brilliant idea for a fast quick loaf of bread to use for this. However, I often just use a baguette fresh made from the local bakery. My other changes are using fresh blackberries (she used frozen thawed) and I omit the nuts and add mint instead. You may also use other berries in this. A mix of blackberries and raspberries is very pretty.

I am always on the look-out for finger food for our many appetizer parties. This recipe came about from my love of Bleu Cheese and my desire to have a nibble that was easy to eat at a standing room only party. Add or reduce cream cheese to bleu cheese ratio to suit your tastes.

    Recipe #143207

I got these off the Pillsbury website. They were a contest winner and I can see why. Made these for Thanksgiving and everybody raved! I think these will also make a good Christmas appetizer and I plan on having these at my Christmas Eve party.

    Recipe #105688

This is an excellent recipe using chicken and broccoli. It is way easier than it looks after you have prepared it.

    Recipe #9497

A friend from work had a dinner party and made these wonderful croissants. The whole group asked for the recipe as we ate these up. These are SO good that you might want to consider doubling as everyone wants seconds!

    Recipe #206453

A wonderful lady in our church gave this to me. In October when I broke my arm, she made this dish and brought it over to us. It was so good that I asked her for the recipe, and last night, Dec. 19th, 2006, she brought the recipe and all the ingredients over to us. Thank you Debbie Lusty!

This is a Pampered Chef recipe that features a tender crescent roll crust topped with herbed cream cheese and crispy, coloful vegetables. Make it ahead of time so the flavors can mingle.

    Recipe #10510

These are so yummy. Would be perfect for breakfast or brunch or anytime! I just made a batch late this evening. A parent brought these in for a teacher's luncheon and everyone loved them.

    Recipe #125633

A co-worker prepared this dessert for a party, and everyone requested the recipe. She said that she got it from the local Alabama Living magazine. I went home immediately and found my magazine. IT IS DELICIOUS!! And VERY EASY TO MAKE!

    Recipe #108562

This recipe came from one of my clients, when I dropped over on a chilly Winter morning, and I smelled it throughout her lovely home. YUM!

    Recipe #145573

Traditional Palmiers are flaky, buttery cookie-like pastries also known as Elephant Ears or PigTails in some regions. This cheater's method is adapted from a Pillsbury recipe. These are smaller than what you'd find in a bakeries and they taste a little bit different - they are so light and have just a hint of lemon. And these are increbily easy & lightning fast - perfect when you have last minute guests.

This is my version of a recipe that was printed in recent magazine. I couldn't get that recipe to work for me; however, with a little patience this was the end result. The sausage I used was a pork and turkey sausage blend.

This is a new favorite of mine. My mom got it from one of her patients. You can adjust the taco seasoning depending on how spicy you like your foods. If you don't like really cheesy things, make sure you use reduced fat shredded cheddar. It melts so well, you don't even taste the cheese!

    Recipe #209830

Crescent rolls are the starting point for these plump homemade Danish rolls with a cream-cheese filling. It does not get any easier than this! Great for breakfast or just sitting around with friends drinking coffee. So easy and so quick...they will think you are a genius!

    Recipe #136848

This recipe, adapted from a Mr Food recipe, doctors up frozen bread dough. These are very pretty when baked.
