    The taste of roasted or rotisserie chicken, but so easy in the crock pot! My mother in law made this for a family gathering once. I didn't know you could do it like this! UPDATED description: I made this again tonight, and forgot how moist it is! Because there's nowhere for the juices to go, it does wind up being a little "soupy" - it's not a crispy rotisserie chicken in that regard. The chicken just falls off the bones and has such great flavor! (in fact, in the photo I posted, I had to push all the chicken pieces back together to make it look like a whole chicken!)

    Easy to make, freezes well for OAMC. We made something similar to this at Dream Dinners and have continued to make it ourselves, it was so easy! You may want to pound out very thick breasts so you get more crusty topping per bite!

    I was looking for oatmeal that was not iron fortified, and found a way to make it myself with some help from the internet. So easy! This powder can also be used in the homemade instant oatmeal recipes you can find here on zaar. I just keep it in a Tupperware container and its ready to go. The original recipe I found on called for steel cut oats. But for the life of me, I could not get them ground fine enough, plus it took 10 minutes to cook. Although this is "more processed", it's so much faster!

    My friend gave me this simple recipe when I was expecting our first baby. It's a gret fall/winter meal. We also use it for OAMC/freezer meals and it works great (freeze meat/veggies separate from sauce and combine when thawed). Also try with 2 1/4 lbs turkey thighs (skin removed)instead of pork.

    With peanut butter crust! This is a family favorite - served by request instead of birthday cake. Sometimes we make 1/2 one flavor and 1/2 another to make everyone happy. If you were energetic you could also do individual cupcake size. You could 1/2 this recipe for a pie plate size. Make as thick/thin as desired.

    A creamy vegetable soup. Our family once had this soup in a restaurant along the Ohio Turnpike, so we call it Turnpike Soup. Through the years we've tried to duplicate it. You can vary the vegetables and amounts very easily. (Don't recommend using beets).

    Combination of spice cookie, banana bread, oatmeal, and chocolate chip cookies! We always called these Banana Nougat cookies, but I think they're really called nugget cookies. Either way, these are the best. Everyone loves them. They're a great "breakfast cookie".
