These delicious little morsels are to die for! Creamy cheese and crab with lemon. Doesn't get much better than that! Great as an appetizer for any social event, but don't wait until then. Make them for yourself and the family, and see for yourself how DELISH they are alone, or with any kind of dipping sauce you might like. I love them with my recipes for Recipe #270395 and Recipe #206003.

    Recipe #215919

After learning how good asparagus is for the body and how well it helps the kidneys. I thought this recipe was an excellent one. It is not cooked so the the asparagus is full of Vitamin A, Folic Acid. Did you know that asparagus has the largest percentage of RDA of folic acid then any other food source!! So eat up. This is excellent served as a dip or a spread. This recipe came from one of my favorite magazines: Organic Gardening

    Recipe #84274

This dipping oil is wonderful with a crusty french bread. I got this recipe from our local paper.

    Recipe #196850

Have not tried this yet but after a recent trip to the east coast I fell in love with crab cakes and this looks like an amazing variation! Originally from epicurious.com.

Adapted from Deborah Madison's book Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone. This is the best method for roasting garlic. It creates the smoothest roasted garlic with the best flavor. It enriches and smooths the flavor and it great in just about everything (well, except desserts). Yield depends on the size of your head of garlic. This produces surprisingly little (perhaps 2 tbs the first time I did it), so if you would like a larger quantity you may want to double or triple the recipe.

    Recipe #72402

an unexpected treat. i first discovered these at a favorite restaurant in seattle, marco's supper club. this dish is a lot of fun and a big surprise for guests.

    Recipe #4371

On a recent trip to Austria, this simple cheese 'spread' was much enjoyed, spread on good black bread, between hearty swigs of beer, while waiting for our mains to arrive.

Simple and delicious! From Tostitos, although I served it with pita chips instead of corn chips.

From Cooking Light. Made for the super bowl party and it was a big hit with those that like edamame. It's green when it's done, and a bit thick. Next time, I will thin it a bit more with a bit more water. Delicious with chips too.

    Recipe #53260

This is one of my favorite appetizers from my favorite cookbook, "Madame Wong's Long-Life Chinese Cookbook. These may be frozen after cooking them and then reheated for a few minutes in a hot oven.

    Recipe #71509

This is nice with cocktails and is actually tastes better if made a few days in advance. Recipe from Barefoot Contessa Family Style

I could eat tons of this, and I do. You can also use canned asparagus, but this is amazing with the fresh (and yes, more expensive) stuff.

This is a very tasty dip, sure to impress your guests. You can add diced bell peppers if you want a savory flavor. (i personally do not care for bell peppers)
