I've always made this with sweet Italian sausage, but have recently started doing it with Polish kielbasa as well. The directions are for Italian sausage and works just fine for either hot or sweet sausage; the Polish sausage doesn't require parboiling unless you just want to do so to reduce fat.

The soup and sandwich combo will become a featured item on TGI Friday's menu. The judges raved about then and I know why. Delicious!

This is my own recipe. It is, as the name states, especially tasty,if I do say so myself!! The secret ingredient is Sriracha chili sauce. The chili sauce doesn't make the sandwich spicy at all, just adds flavor! When I make it for people, they say, "MMMMM!! What did you put in here!!??"
If you are going to make a white bean & tuna salad (which, if you've never had it, might not sound good, but is) with canned goods, this is a good recipe. This is from a book called _Culinary Journey to the Mediterranean. You can serve this with pita bread or pita chips, and/or on a bed of arugula or watercress.

A great brunch item! One of my husbands favorite filling, baked, french toast style, sandwiches filled with cheese, ham, turkey & mustard. Raspberry preserves is a must for him. Could be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is a LESSER FAT Monte Cristo recipe being baked and not fried full of flavor! I also like to buy the low salt cold cuts or use fresh baked turkey leftovers sliced thin.
