This recipe is from my mom. I request that she makes this for my birthday. It takes time to make and is work but it is so good. I recommend reading through whole recipe before making.

This pie starts with a delicious custard placed in a baked pie shell, then a layer of halved fresh strawberries is added and then topped with luscious freshly whipped cream. Custard can be made ahead and pie assembled just before serving. Awesome!

This is a simple, homey, comfort food that everyone seems to love. I adapted this in the late '70s from a recipe I found in a Yankee Magazine Cookbook. If you like lots of topping add half again or double it (double is pretty sweet). This is the perfect recipe for potlucks and parties as you can make it ahead, and it travels well. I love it for breakfast with a hot cup of coffee or tea.

When I saw all the other Tiramisu recipes posted, I was hesitant to add my one. But after looking through them, none were quite like mine. This is the only Tiramisu recipe I have ever made, I found it so good I didn't need to seek out another. It is very simple and can be made in the morning for dinner. It is my most popular dessert and is requested by my friends often. Cook time is minimum refrigeration time. I have no idea which book this came from. Many people have commented that the level of sugar in this recipe is too low. I wonder if they are using caster (superfine) sugar or just regular? Superfine will fill a 1/4 of a cup more than regular would. Of course, it could just be personal taste and that's okay too.

These are my favorite cupcakes from when I was young! They're so delicious, they're easy to make, and everyone always wants the recipe. :) My mom used to spread the extra glaze between graham crackers and we would eat them after they hardened. Those were so good that sometimes we would just make the glaze recipe minus the cupcakes!

Recipe #395129

This recipe comes from a Dude Ranch in Northern Michigan. The chef served these with hot chocolate after a hay ride. Cook time is for the whole recipe.

Recipe #41765

So yummy. I reserve this for extra-special occasions. Chills overnight.

The Dutch Mill was a restaurant in Bluffton Indiana that was famous for it's pies. It burned down about 10 years ago, but we've still got the Sugar Cream Pie recipe to recreate at home! Sugar Cream Pie is unique, sweet, dense, and creamy ...additively yummy! The recipe is easy but there can be a "little" bit of trial and error since ovens vary. Stick with it though, because the reward is well worth it!

As adults we expect more. These are not your ordinary cupcakes. This cupcake supplies more flavor per bite. Using the coconut milk (DO NOT use Cream of coconut), instead of whole milk will help to intensify the flavor. This recipe comes from Cuisine at Home. Enjoy!

A goodie Betty shared with the group at our annual rughooking retreat. Recipe originally came from the back of a Duncan Hines brownie box, but she decided she liked a Betty Crocker boxed brownie mix better. Cook time does not include time to cool. I thought the oatmeal layer might detract from the brownie, but it was a wonderful compliment.

In a hurry then this recipe is for you. I saw this on T.V last night and had to try it. It is really good. Husband don't like sweets very well but really likes it. The cook time is freezing it.

Our family loves this salad, even the picky eaters! Cooking time is cooling time. This makes a huge bowl full, which makes wonderful leftovers, but feel free to halve or even quarter the recipe if needed. Inspired by Chef Ain't B's recipe #252481.

I found this recipe in my files. I dont remember where I got it, but it's good. I love the simplicity of the recipe.

Nummy! Serve warm or cold, topped with whipped cream.

This sounds really good. Another floating recipe from my sister's office. These recipes could be between 10-30 year's old. Hope you like it. Makes a small pie.

This is an almond butter cookie that melts in your mouth! An old Scandinavian recipe,I have been making this cookie for over 50 years: it was one of the first ones that my Swedish Grandmother taught me to make. However, this is NOT the cookie you make when you are running short on time. You must be proactive and do several steps before you can even begin the cookie itself. It is critical to really brown the butter as it's that key ingredient that adds all the flavour. I will make over 100 of these each Christmas: at the start of the baking day I wil brown and cool the butter. At the end of the baking day, I will combine the ingredients and bake it, knowing that these MUST sit out on the counter to cool 100% or they shatter. The next day I repeat the steps. But, these are so worth the little bit of extra preparation; they are the first cookie to disappear from the tray each year.

Love this novel idea from Blue Belle Ice Cream. Originally uses Blue Bell Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream for a St. Patrick's Day theme, but any ice cream works well. Freeze time not included. With adult supervision, can easily be made with kids.

These are just the best brownies ever!

Recipe #91861

This is a VERY old recipe that I doctored years ago!

Recipe #118763

A simple recipe my husband got from a coworker many years ago. Prep time does not include chilling time.
