WOW! What a terrific dessert! So easy and fun! PLUS the fruit topping is prepared and waiting in the fridge which makes this ideal for dinner parties, guests, etc.. Imagine Angel Food cake lightly grilled and topped with these or any combo of your favorite fresh fruits and a dollop of sherbet or sorbet! All I can say is WOW! I hope you like this too!
Frozen grapes used to be my favorite dessert, but now these are my number one! Fresh lychees can be tough to find outside of warm climates (and the season is short), but the canned fruit is widely available in Indian and Asian markets and supermarkets. Cook time=chill time.
When I was growing up my mom made a version of this every fall to help get rid of the apples that were starting to wrinkle and weren't bad just yet and she'd make apple jelly with the juice too. I hope you like it as much as my family did and now my neighbors do :)
My Grandma and Mom made these cookies often when I was growing up and I have been making them for my kids for 20 years! I have tried many other peanut butter cookie recipes, but this one is still our favorite. Crispy, but a light texture . . . they almost melt in your mouth!
If you are like us you will want a loaf of French bread to soak up the marinated from these flavorful tomatoes. These tomatoes go very well next grilled marinated meats. **cook time is really chill time**
A great way to get your veggies at breakfast. A very fulfilling, tasty and healthy breakfast that fits in with the Paleo lifetstyle. You can substitute the squash with whatever vegetables you have handy or in the freezer. If you are trying for low-fat you can also use less butter and olive oil. The tomatoes add a sweet pop to the hash, I used mini heirloom tomatoes. I recommend grass-fed butter like Kerrygold brand. This was served with some turkey bacon. Nom, nom nom...
Altered slightly from a recipe off tabasco.com. For this salad, I used yellow (wax) beans for
half the amount of green beans. Any greens will work in the salad: baby spinach, frisee, crisp romaine, collards, as long as they're super fresh. Go ahead if you wish and substitute another variety of Tabasco sauce: Chipotle for a smokier flavor, Habanero for a fiery hot flavor, etc. (You may have to reduce the amount indicated.)
This recipe is featured in the Woman's World Magazine and looks so good, and not to hard. The recommend not adding the pecans no sooner than an hour or two before serving so the nuts stay crunchy. A very impressive cheese ball for parties. This is a sweet and savory appetizer that looks as amazing as it tastes. Shaped into a pineapple and top with leafy top of the fresh pineapple. Prep time does not include refrigeration time.
HI, I made this fudge the other day and I must give the recipe 4 stars! The recipe is from the back of Toll House Premier White Morsels by Nestle. Very easy to make and costs less than $3 to make about 50 pieces! I think this would do well at your next school or church bake sale! Maple Walnut Fudge--
