I wrote up this recipe for my daughter Kendra. She loves my swedish meatballs. I usually read several recipes and pick out the parts I like. She called and wanted my recipe. I was in a hurry and gave her one straight from one of my cookbooks. It was a flop. So I decided to write down exactly what I do for her. It works.

Another Once a month meal that's sure to please. My little girl likes these because they pick up easily in her hands! *I revised this recipe based on several folks pointing out that I had made a mistake on the amount of cream cheese. Thank you so much for the input!

    Recipe #50767

This is a very quick fix, 5-10 min prep, 30 minutes in the oven. Kids love it. I add ranch dressing for additional flavor. I use real bacon bits to save time. You can substitute the cheese of your choice. I have used American, Mild Cheddar and Mozzarella. I have experimented with adding scrambled eggs for a brunch. You can also use the french bread idea for pizza pockets and much more. The possibilities are endless.

I have never had Moo Shu or Kung Pao or any of that, however this is what I imagine they taste like. This is a nice fast lunch.

This is a very easy soup to make. A very nice creamy type soup. Preferably served hot with crackers or a nice home made style bread or a nice fresh sourdough bread.

This taco soup is quick and easy to prepare and has great flavor. I got it from a family friend.

We often have this soup on Sunday afternoons in the winter. It is quick and easy, hearty and filling. Serve it with fresh hot homemade biscuits or fresh bread. Yumm. Real comfort food.

I got this recipe from my sister-in-law. It is very good and the colors make it very appealing.

    Recipe #64444

This hearty comfort dish is super quick and easy for any weeknight. These ingredient amounts aren't set in stone, make yours with more pasta and less sauce or we like our sauce so much that we use more sauce than pasta with lots of cheese. This is easy and you can make it with whatever you have around.

A good and easy way to use leftover roast, always a hit for a light lunch or dinner. Serve with green salad and hot rolls. Note: Other meats can be substituted, but it's the flavor of a beef roast that makes this recipe so good. My mother loves this dish with grated carrot, sometimes. I don't care for it, but you might like to try it.

    Recipe #60161

Use up your last bits of leftover roast in this quick, tangy sauce. Serve with rice and steamed celery and green pepper. The New Look Of Beef (lowfat)

I never know what to do with leftovers after I fix a pot roast with gravy, onion, potatoes and carrots until I found this recipe. I wouldn't really call it a strata because it doesn't have bread cubes in it. Rather, it has a yorkshire pudding baked around everything else. The recipe came from a book called "Marnie's Kitchen Shortcuts" by Marnie Swedberg. The recipe calls for specific amounts, although I tend to throw in whatever amount of leftovers I have.
