    These are sandwich cookies, filled with a double filling of raspberry preserves and white frosting. I'd never had these before, so I don't have anything to compare these to. But these are delicious! Cook time is for one sheet of cookies.

    I love kabobs....I love the flavor the meat absorbs from the vegetables that surround it, and I love the flavor absorbed by the marinade.     I like this lentil soup because it includes a couple of veggies too. The red lentils are specified in the recipe because they are smaller, rounder, and they do not have the seed coat of brown lentils. However, you can substitute brown lentils if necessary. I just love the spices in this! This is a long list of ingredients, but it involves very little effort. You should be able to have it on the table in an hour or so.

    I love to grill, and even more, I love when the entire meal can be made outside! This is one of those meals.....of course, some rice or bread on the side would be nice, but you can make a full meal out of this. Feel free to switch out the veggies.     This is a very unique stir fry, in that it's served on a bed of shredded lettuce instead of over rice! To save time, you can buy a bag of pre-shredded lettuce. I like 2 or more jalapenos, but I like things spicy. If you'd like, you can garnish with salsa, diced avocados, chopped green onions, and sour cream! I like this served hot, but you can serve it cold as a salad....but I really like it hot over the cold lettuce!

    Although the vibrant pink color of this Middle Eastern dip is startling, the flavor is superb. There are many versions. Sometimes the beets are puréed and blended into the yogurt; other times, they are simply sliced or cubed; still other times, a little tahini is blended in for a deeper, richer flavor. In this recipe, the beets are simply grated with the shredding disk of a food processor, then folded into thick, creamy yogurt. Serve as a dip or an accompaniment to fish. Cook time includes chilling time.
