I saw this on Sara's Secrets and couldn't wait to try it! The sauce brings out the sweetness in the fish. Enjoy!

    Recipe #118010

This is a weekly request at my house. These enchiladas have a white creamy sauce instead of the traditional tomato based sauce. I've been asked for this recipe over and over again, so I thought I would post it. I love Mexican foods, and I think this is a wonderful dish. I hope you do too!

    Recipe #209168

This is great to use as your salad dressing, or as a salad topping with additional dressing. You can also serve this as a side dish, especially when tomatoes are plentiful in the summer months! If you prepare this during a "dry tomato season", plum tomatoes are a good substitute. This recipe came from Southern Living. Please note: Cooking time is marinating time!

    Recipe #366061

Adapted from Healthy Women's magazine, this dish has plenty of flavor!

    Recipe #158351

Mmmm...a nice way to serve salmon! Prep time includes marinating.

    Recipe #41142

This is English cookery at its best! Recipe given by James Beard.

A tender pineapple chicken dish that is guaranteed to be gobbled up by kids and adults alike. You can also add peppers, they just aren't a big hit in our house. Toss everything in the crock pot (even frozen chicken breasts!) and come home to a complete meal that just needs to be served over rice. This was an entry in RSC #13. Enjoy!

    Recipe #354028

This is best served hot, but equally good cold! This is an authentic german recipe...everyone says it is the best! It is also great cooked ahead of time and then microwaved...it gives the flavors time to blend.

    Recipe #176261

Great fresh salad that uses early summer vegetables. Very colorful too! Cooking time is the time for soaking the onions.

There are stands throughout Mexico that sell this refreshing fruit drink. You can store Agua Fresca up to 4 days in the fridge. Enjoy!

    Recipe #370541

This is another recipe from my childhood. In my home, you always got to request whatever you wanted for dinner on your birthday. Most years, I chose this (and Mom still makes it for me when I ask!). This is a great baked pork chop dish, the sauce keeps the chops from getting dry, and is wonderful to top a side of rice. Feel free to increase the amount of sauce, it's the best part. Don't feel that you need to use the high end center cut chops for this dish, it's a great way to use the less expensive "pork steak" cuts. If you prefer to use fresh mushrooms, add a pint of sliced mushrooms with the bacon and onions.

Hola Amigos! This recipe is mui bueno! A healthy and easy recipe that adults and kids will both love. You can replace the ground beef with a vegetarian meat alternative or chicken. Also, you may want to add peppers when you add the tomatoes to the beef. Serve this with the crunchy veggies listed to catch the sauce and add some cold crunch to your hot burritos. NOTE: this is a big meal and might be too much for some people. My DH and I were hungry and ate our 2 burritos but our DS's could only eat 1 1/2 and were stuffed. Enjoy!

    Recipe #354841

This is a very economical dish, but it is very tasty! Served with some bread and possibly a salad, you could have a "poor man's dinner party"!

    Recipe #328492

Bacon cooked in the oven (my preferred method of always cooking bacon), with some special additions. Especially good on a BLT! This recipe comes from the Loveless Cafe in Nashville Tennessee.

This is one from a German grandmother. She will often cook hamburger with onion and make a gravy to blend with it to pour over the pink potatoes.

    Recipe #170079

From the Essential Eating Well Cookbook, these are so tasty!

Just a basic meatloaf recipe that my family happens to really enjoy. If you don't have green onions (they do add a great flavour), or your kids pick out the green pieces, you can substitute them with 1/2 medium onion, chopped. I'm not a huge fan of ketchup, but you can add it on top if you want to. Make these in a muffin tin if you want to get your kids more interested. Served with mashed potatoes and a veggie, it's a simple, tasty meal. These aren't huge portions so you might want to double the recipe. The leftovers will freeze very well. Enjoy!

    Recipe #349435

This is a variation on the blueberry muffin I have posted. Great for when strawberries are fresh and in abundance!

You can use both halves of the wings, but drumettes have more meat. These wings don't make you feel as bad after having them because a lot of the fat cooks off when being broiled. Be cautious about the heat of your broiler - they would burn under my broiler if I cooked them set on high for 20 minutes. The total cooking time only includes the oven option. Enjoy!

    Recipe #362076

This combination of sweet beets and hot horseradish is a mild, delicious taste treat and a great side dish with grilled meats. A twist on the presentation of the Eastern Europen dish called Tsvikly. From Food and Drink magazine. Hope you enjoy! *Note, please use a very hot, prepared horseradish sauce to offset the mildness of the cream. If you do not have hot horseradish, then please be prepared for a very mild flavoured dressing!
