This is a delicious cool treat on those scorching hot days. Found this one in Sunset magazine. It tastes delicious. Note: A 3 3/4-pound pineapple yields about 3 cups of fruit. When you core and cut it, save the juice.

    Recipe #182048

When you've got a craving for mint ice cream this shake is awesome. From Sunset magazine. We make it without the creme de menthe for the kids and they love it. But the adult version is oh so delicious.

    Recipe #182049

Refreshing treat during the 10 hot summer months we experience each year here in the south :-) Its quick and easy to toss together. You will need an ice shaver. I like it really tart, you can make it milder by adjusting the amounts of sugar and lime juice.

Every Spring, our Newtown Neighborhood has a Garden Walk. Those of us who show our gardens give away plants, and also serve refreshments. I was told that my limeade was the best ever, and would I please share the recipe! I learned the technique from one of the wonderful cooks in our church who makes great lemonade. The fizzy water is my idea. I serve this with my Recipe #83963, decorated for Spring.

    Recipe #182158

Only three ingredients and ready in minutes. So easy my eight-year-old son is in charge of making it! If you want it more tart add an extra 1/4 cup of lemon juice.

    Recipe #182211

Limoncello is a sweet lemon liqueur from Italy. We blend it with watermelon juice for a light, summery, slightly-sparkly spin on lemonade that's perfect for a backyard barbecue or picnic in the park.

    Recipe #182337

The combination of fruits was a sweet and tangy blend my children love. Easy to throw together and quickly gone. This reminds me of the Five Alive frozen concentrate I enjoyed growing up.

My mother's friend gave her this recipe when I was just a young thing. Many moons ago. I still make it when I have a good reason to do so and find it is so refreshing.

    Recipe #161279

Found this recipe awhile back in a Kraft booklet and just recently found it while cleaning house. This is such a special treat on a warm sunny day around the pool or just relaxing on the back deck with family and friends. Great for parties, cookouts, and even for dieters who want that little special sweet treat. You can use this with your favorite Kool aid drink, or tea (using lemonade Kool aid), different juices, and some sodas such as Sprite or 7-up.

    Recipe #162390

A refreshing beverage that's good any time of the year from TOH. I use decaf tea bags for all of my iced teas. Plan ahead as this tastes better if refrigerated overnight.

These have got to be the best Mai Tai's that we know of. I have adapted the recipe from who would have guess Pillsbury paperback cookbook. There's a reason the dough boy is so happy!

I haven't made this yet, but it sounds like the perfect beverage (for kids & adults) on those hot summer days & warm nites spent w/family or friends on your patio, at poolside or on a picnic. My source here is the Cherry Marketing Institute. Stated time does not include refrigeration time. Enjoy!
