A lovely custard and just for 2! No need to make a big batch. This one came from the Internet, pure and simple. Amazing the number of wonderful goodies that I found simply by surfing the 'Net. Welcome to the 21st century! (My grandmothers would be SO jealous!)

    Nice around the holidays.

I adore this little lemon pound cake. It's the perfect size when you just need enough for 2 people. The bonus is... it's quick and easy to put together. I can have this in the oven in less then 5 minutes. How great is that?!? This doubles very nicely for when you need a little more but still don't need a big dessert. When doubling, don't double the baking soda, just leave it at 1/8 teaspoon.

This is my favorite little vanilla pound cake. It's perfect for 2 people. It makes a great base for strawberry shortcakes! Top it with whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate... yum. I have done a bunch of diferent things with this perfect little cake. It has a wonderful texture and melts in your mouth. You can easily double this but don't double the baking soda, just leave it at 1/8 teaspoon.

We rarely use or need hot fudge this makes just a 1/2 cup of hot fudge. *For creative flavors: Before cooking add some cinnamon. After cooking blend in instant coffee, flavored liqueurs, dark rum, brand, greated orange or lemon peel. *With Vatiation for Milk Chocolate Sauce and also for Hot Chocolate.

A quick dessert recipe for two that tastes a lot better then the ingredients suggest.

This is a recipe that I enjoy when I just want to make a treat for myself but don't want the high calories and fat or the leftovers. I think they are really good, but don't expect them to taste like regular full-fat brownies! I'm mainly posting to get the nutrition facts, but I hope some of you out there will enjoy them as much as I do!

Since there are only two of us in the house (well only 2 humans), I don't like to make desserts because there's SO MUCH. So when I came across this recipe I had to try it. It was delicious and the portions were just perfect for us. From Cooking For Two 2009, America's Test Kitchen

This is a nice amount of frosting for a few cupcakes or a small cake. It is a recipe from a book called Small Batch Baking by Debbie Maugans Nakos. This book has just about every kind of dessert you could imagine all sized for one or two people.

Nice chicken liver dish. Definitely don't skip the sherry; it is what sets the dish apart from 'blah'.
