The crust comes from an Emeril recipe for a mango cream pie, but I wanted to keep this separate so I don't forget about the crust alone. I like it in the mango cream pie, but think it would also be awesome for making a coconut cream pie.

Peanut Butter,Bananas and chocolate.. creamy-rich delight..what more could you ask for -- maybe some coffee or tea to drink with it?? Cook time includes the freezing time.

Think of an apple pie in the apple with a crust of your favorite sugar cookie or sweet pie dough. They will be a great end to a dinner party or just for you. I have made the recipe for 1 apple, you can scale it to the number you want.

England's Cheshire Pie, a hearty combination of boneless pork loin and cider-moistened apples in a short-crust pastry dough, is the inspiration for this sausage and apple pastry. Serve this warm, with fruit salad, at breakfast or brunch. Or heat some up for Sunday night supper, where it goes wonderfully well with a plain green salad. This isn't a savory meat pie but has sweetness from the apples and cider.

Mama's recipe and my favorite dessert in childhood. A very light dessert to have after a large dinner. Oh, what memories!!!

I found this recipe in the first issue of Cooking Light and it really is great. Adding the egg white is a brilliant idea! Holds together very well. I am diabetic so I love the reduced sugar and reduced fat content.

Cook time is chill time. Using a crust will more than DOUBLE your calories, fat, and sugar.

Recipe #200216

Good for cheesecake and pumpkin or Jello pudding pies, but not strong enough for a pie with runny/loose filling. Do NOT substitute margarine or oil for the butter. (learned this the hard way).

Recipe #193530

This delicious recipe came from Martha Stewart's magazine, Feb. 2012.

This pie is super quick and easy to put together! It also makes it's own crust. Great for a last minute dessert.

From a Houston Junior League cookbook, this is by far my favorite way to eat fresh strawberries. Quick, fresh, sweet and not at all gloppy. I think it's better when eaten right away than when chilled. If you purchase the red gloppy substance sold in your grocer's produce section to make strawberry shortcake or pie, please stop!!! This recipe can also be used as a quick strawberry shortcake or poundcake topping. You'll be suprised at the bright red color without food coloring, corn syrup or other nasty things that detract from beautiful fresh berries.

Delicious way to share the fresh strawberries of the season! Or don't! The entire "pie" is 6 WWers points.

Recipe #108452

This recipe comes from and just in time for strawberry season. Azar's restaurant had the greatest tasting pie!

Fruity and sweet.

If you like chocolate, you can substitute chocolate cookie crumbs for the graham cracker.

Recipe #23177

Well, after looking for this recipe on here and not having any luck, I decided to find it and post it. In my opinion, this is the best pumpkin pie. Make your own graham cracker crust or buy an already prepared one.

I gave away the Joy of Cooking I had for about 30 years to someone who had no cookbook and got myself the 1997 version. This was in in. It is much bigger, however did drop many of the "old standards". Any version of Joy of Cooking is the perfect cookbook for someone who is just starting to cook as it does such a good job of explaining the basics and outlining fundamentals.
