This is a delightful sweet dough. So good with only one egg. Do try this filling it is one of the best. Be careful as you are tasting it for sweetness you may just eat all of the filling.

This can be a bit fiddly, but most of the work can be done well ahead of time. I always get lots of oohs and ahhhs over this pretty dessert. Being chocolate free, it does make it a lighter dessert option - perfect for a hot night or after a heavy/rich meal.

I have a star fruit tree in my garden so I am always on the look out for recipes to use up the fruit. I found this on the net and its easy and delicious, especially with a bit of butter on it. If you don't have access to star fruit you can substitute fresh pineapple if you use tinned make sure you drain well.

Have a loaf of banana bread that didn't quite bake all the way through, or just have some leftovers that are going stale? Slice them up and make a delicious biscotti!

After a whole lot of research, I found just what I was looking for: a decadent, rich, and sinful cake with the amazing flavors of the ever so inviting banana. I found it on the Taste Of Home Website and I couldn't be more thankful that I did. The Recipe originally called for a simple powdered sugar glaze, but being me, I decided to take it to the next level by glazing it with my "French Vanilla Cream Cheese Glaze." Look on my other recipes if you wish to find the recipe for it :)

This is a recipe for a steamed, sweet white bun filled with red bean paste. Delicious, delicious, delicious! In Korea they are known as Jjinbbang and are sold by street vendors. This version is a little bit lighter and less chewy than my favorite street vendor, but I'll figure it out soon :) Adapted from the Fresh Loaf. Enjoy!

These sweet Sephardic pastry cookies are filled with a ground nut and spice mixture, and dipped in a honey syrup. They are similar in concept to the bureka or empanada.

Ever see kumquats in the grocery store & wonder what to do with them? I received them in a gift box of citrus fruit from Florida, and this is an excellent nut bread recipe that was in an enclosed flyer.
