This sound unlikely. I forget why I tried it. It is EASY and really good. Use it on sandwiches or in a salad.

Recipe #451356

I created this easy California-cuisine inspired recipe when I was spending way too much time on pregnancy nutrition. It's a great source of iron, fiber, protein, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin B12.

Recipe #281133

Refreshing & easy summer salad. My mom always made it with fresh lettuce grown in the garden.

Recipe #461095

I found this when my yard was producing more papaya than I could eat.

Recipe #452733

There is a very nice flavor and will vary depending on the chutney you use. I have mango trees, so have copious quantities of various mango chutneys. It is great as a tea sandwich!

Recipe #464814

This is a fabulous fresh salad. I like it dressed it with Recipe # 424387. I use mostly yellow corn and some white. It is a great salad for a picnic or party as there is nothing to go bad (like mayo).

Recipe #451914

This is a recipe I have used often and changed bit by bit throught the years.

Recipe #36432

A new fig recipe for this year! Similar to my Recipe #250866 but with blue cheese and a honey drizzle dressing. I like to tuck a few fig leaves amongst the salad for colour........but please do wipe them first! Serve these figs with crusty bread, some mixed herb and salad leaves.......and a glass of chilled wine. Quantities for figs depend on the size; allow one or two large figs per person or, between three and six for medium to small figs. This makes a fabulous dinner party starter, or a light salad for lunch..........I sometimes serve this for the cheese course too, for something a little different.

Recipe #389016

This is one of my keepers in the search for papaya recipes to use the abundance from my yard.

This is a tomato and scallion salad. Simple.

Recipe #452451

Found in the search for mango recipes to use up my abundance in the yard.

Recipe #452762

This is a refreshing side dish, originally published in Cooking Light magazine.

Recipe #310397

A refreshing treat, the recipe for this comes from the 2004 Healthy Latino-Recipes Made with Love.

Recipe #368789

Bet you didn't know you could eat these!!!!!

Recipe #452240

I found this when my yard was producing papaya faster than I could use it.

Recipe #452731

I just got this in an email from Stonyfield Farms and I am posting it here for safekeeping. It seems different from other cranberry slaw recipes here in that it is creamy and uses yogurt.

This salad came from a KENYA AND TANZANIA web site and is specifically a Swahili recipe. Serve with rice and curry. Posted for ZWT4.

Recipe #308909

I evolved this over the years based on something a grocery used to make. Feel free to add other crunchy or yummy stuff to your liking. Cucumbers and green peppers come to mind.
