Great for that run in the morning breakfast. You can also take frozen burritos with you when going camping. Just place the bag of frozen burritos into the ice chest, and by the time you're ready for breakfast the first morning, the burritos are fully thawed. Then simply reheat them in a large skillet over the campstove or fire grate.

This recipe has been in the making for several months. I have tried a number of combinations and this works best. The sugar and fat have been reduced. I can only get two pans in my oven at a time so the cooking time reflects cooking two at a time.

Appropriate for Diabetics. Uses a food processor, great way to hide the nutrious stuff from the kids! Can be made up to 4 hours ahead before baking.

Recipe #128808

This recipe came from the lack of variety of toasted muesli's on the supermarket shelf. The best thing about this recipe is the endless possibilities. Based on taste you can add or subtract ingredients that you like. For example; Daddy doesn't like Apricots so we just skip putting them in all together.

This Stuff is killer good, and if you follow the whole recipe you'll probably have leftovers. Not to worry, freezes well. This is not every day eating, but enjoy it when you can.

This basic pastry can be turned into several freeze ahead rolls to be pulled out and heated for your or your guests! I warn you it takes a little time but you will have it stored and ready for use...and you look very accomplished doing it!

These make a great good-for-you breakfast! I think it would also work well to double or triple it, freeze the bars individually, and grab them on your way out the door for inclusion in lunch or breakfast on the road.

I've included meat eaters and vegan options for this easy to put together breakfast side option!

This is a recipe I found online and adapted to suit my family's taste. You can use either Chorizo or regular bulk breakfast sausage, depending on your tastes. They're both good. If you like spicy foods, add a 4 oz can of chopped and drain green chilies.

This recipe had come to me through several hands and has no doubt been somewhat modified although I was told the original may have come from Prevention Magazine. These keep very well and freeze beautifully. You will need a food processor to chop the oranges but the rest is done by hand You may have to do some searching in a good market or health food store for some of the ingredients but once you try them you will be glad you too will be addicted.

This a low fat pancake recipe with a little bit of a healthy kick to it. This recipe is for quite a large batch, so half it if you are not cooking for a large group. I make this in a large batch and freeze it for an easy and quick breakfast. The flavoured yogurt that I use is Yoplait Delicieux, Strawberry with Chocolate Flakes (yummm!).

My cereal of choice! This recipe makes a bunch, but you can store it airtight up to 6 months.

Recipe #119542

I started experimenting with breakfast ideas for my husband who is too busy at work to sit down for long to eat. The seasonings, cheese, meat and bread I have listed are just suggestions (my husband's preference). Add veggies if you like! The possibilities are endless! If you want to cut down on the meat and save some money, replace part of the sausage with textured vegetable protein. It will take on the flavor of the sausage and make it a little lower in fat. Just follow the directions on the TVP package to prepare. TVP is usually in the health food section at the store.
