This pizza is designed for the "adult" pallet and a great way to turn leftovers into a wonderful meal for 2. Serve with a side salad and pepperonci for a delightful and quick meal in less than 30 minutes.
I had a craving for a chicken burger and didn't have any on hand so I came up with this. The Italian dressing adds a lot to the flavor. I like to use the entire envelope but you might prefer to only use 2 teaspoons. They are also great with ranch dressing mix. I have made them both ways. I usually make a big batch of these and freeze them for quick lunches and snacks. I make smaller patties to eat on rolls but you can make them bigger to be used with hamburger buns and serve them with lettuce and tomato.
This is similar to many Baked Pasta dishes but with the distinct flavors of pizza. I created this recipe yesterday and took it to a dinner party as the main dish. It was a big hit and every woman there asked for the recipe. I decided that anything that popular should be posted here. You do not have to use the same kind of pasta I did...but should use a pasta which will remain slightly firm after boiling and baking so that it is not mushy. NOTE** I've had several people ask about when to add the spices...you can either add them to the sauce or to the sausage when you cook it. Either way works great! Since this recipe is an original creation of mine, it tickles me so very much that lots of people are enjoying it! Thanks everyone!
Just a simple fried rice - a meal on its own. If you like, pair it with stir-fried vegetables. Try to use cold, leftover rice if possible. You can also use any leftover vegetables in place of the corn.
A great use for leftover chicken or turkey. Uses no Cream of Whatever soup. A creamy wonderful one dish meal of chicken, rice 'n peas, topped off with a mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and baked until golden brown.
I wanted to create a dish which would would be a combination of the flavors of Spinach Dip and Alfredo Sauce. I love the flavors of both of them and thought that if I could put the correct amounts of various ingredients together I could make a Italian Style Casserole which would qualify as 'comfort food' and yet have a gourmet taste.
Do not be afraid of this recipe being too complicated. It is very easy to put together and I was very specific so that even a beginner cook cook make this dish.
This is a meal in itself and if you added a loaf of hot crusty bread you wouldn't need anything else.
After I tried ham salad with cheese, I never wanted to make plain ham salad again! This is my own recipe, which suits my family's taste. You might try combining the ingredients by hand if you prefer a more chunky texture.
My mother gave me this recipe. She found it while clipping coupons. It is from S&W. This is the best stew I have ever eaten and my family requests me to make it quite frequently. It has become a "comfort food" for us. Perfect to make if you have leftovers after baking a large turkey or chicken. Can be made vegetarian or vegan if desired.
