Better Homes and Gardens, February 2005. This looked so good I didn't want to lose it. This is erinhill77's recipe. She was the grand prize winner so all glory and honors go to her. God bless creative people. Try this recipe; it rocks; read her review.

Someone bought me a Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream & Dessert Book (title). This book is great it tells how to make most of their flavors and some. The book can be ordered at the bookstore for about $8.95. The reason I like this ice cream is because you can freeze it and it is like the store bought hard ice cream. I do not eat it right from the freezer because to me it is to creamy. French Vanilla

VARIATION: Chocolate Almond- Add 1 cup roasted whole almonds (salted or unsalted) after the ice cream stiffens, about 2 minutes before it is done, then continue to freeze until the ice cream is ready.

Every August the peach tree in our garden is bursting with huge, juicy peaches. I make this at least once a week every summer once that tree gives up its fruit, for family desserts and as gifts for friends.

(For electric Ice Cream Machines) This recipe makes a delicious, soft, custard-type ice cream. If you prefer a firmer ice cream, you can chill it for an extra cycle in your ice cream machine or place it in a bowl in your freezer for an hour before serving. Prep time includes the 1 hour chilling time and the 1/2 hour beat/freezing time.

A wonderful treat/dessert for a hot Summer's night. Serve it in "Irish coffee" glasses with a dollop of whipped cream on top and a few Pirouette cookies on the side...Mmmmmmmmmmm!!!

A basic "custard style" vanilla ice cream. Premium quality vanilla extract should be used for best flavor. Prep times do not include cooling/freezing times.

This is a easy, yummy pudding based ice cream (with or without the chopped nuts). The recipe is from the book that came with my ice cream machine. Please Note: This recipe is NOT eggless, as the pudding mix contains eggs. The Eggless category would not "unclick" when I tried to edit it out. Sorry for the error :(
