A wonderful desert for coffee lovers. Although I haven't made this yet, I think it will be delicious with a rich chocolate cake! Prep time includes chilling time (2 hours) but not freezing time. Processing time is included with cook time. Recipe source: Bon Appetit (March 1980)

    Recipe #82353

    Recipe #122371

Adapted from "Best of the Best of Georgia." I have not tried this yet. Makes about 3 quarts ice cream batter, which will freeze up as more. If you have a small machine, only pour in as much batter as your machine requires (usually 1 quart batter freezes to about 1 1/2 quarts ice cream in an electric machine).

    Recipe #100629

This ice cream is so rich and creamy! This recipe is for the custard base which then needs to be processed in an ice cream maker, but it is more than worth it! A lighter version can be made with half and half. I use the 16oz container of frozen strawberries and syrup in place of the strawberry puree and fresh strawberries. Or leave them out for sinfully rich cheesecake ice cream! Cook time is based on your ice cream maker and does not include time needed to cool the batter.

You can use either fresh picked berries or frozen with this recipe. Do not use boxed raspberries if you use frozen. You do not need the syrup. Strain the seeds from the puree for a smoother sorbet. From Cuisine at Home.

These are a great way to use fresh raspberries. Prep time includes refrigeration/freezing time (8 hours). Cooking time incudes processing time. (Recipe source: Bon Appetit (July 1984)

    Recipe #121699

Good enough to be served at Ben & Jerry's. Use fresh, good-quality ingredients. I love to make this during strawberry season. Plan to refrigerate berries in sugar for 1 hour before making ice cream.

Wonderful blueberry ice cream that can be made from either fresh or frozen blueberries. Great summer-time treat! The recipe comes from a Country Woman Magazine, which I purchased just for this recipe. (Prep-time is estimated cooking time and Cooking-time is freezing and ripening time)

    Recipe #91781

Made this recipe, which was mined from the internet originally, and dressed it up to my liking. It is really, really good--once you make it it won't be around for long (just ask my scale.)

From the August 2003 issue of Cooking Light, one of their staff favorites. This is a fun and different recipe when fresh corn is in season. They suggest sprinkling with caramel popcorn when serving.

    Recipe #113916

My version of a Barefoot Contessa recipe. I think it's a better version; not as sticky.

    Recipe #91570

While travelling in the States last summer, my kids and I developed an addiction to Moose Tracks ice cream. (DH isn't much of an ice cream lover) Unfortunately, we can't get Moose Tracks here in Israel... so I decided to concoct my own version. Here's the recipe, my DD came up with the name. Karen=..=, thanks for your wonderful recipe, we love Reese's Squares!!

    Recipe #74479

This was my 4 year old son's request when I asked him what kind of ice cream he'd like me to invent. It has a berry vanilla taste and is sky blue with candy stars mixed in. I was surprised at how well it turned out. It's definately a kid pleaser! Cook time is freeze time.

    Recipe #34190

This ice cream is a real sweet and rich treat! I found this recipe in a Sunset Magazine article on holiday entertaining. Prep time does not include chill time.

Note: This recipe is for a 1-quart machine. Double or triple ingredients if needed for your machine. I have not made this recipe.

    Recipe #82357

My husband's favorite flavor. Cooking time includes chilling and freezing time.

    Recipe #126604

This is me trying to imitate the great Burgundy Cherry Ice Cream served up at Laura Secord's in the 70s and 80s. I think it's a winner. Prep does not include freezing and churning.

    Recipe #100423

Be careful not to overmix the ice cream when swirling in the caramel sauce. Living Magazine.
