My husband is an avid fisherman and comes home often with salmon. We were given this recipe by a friend and it has become a favorite in our family. Very easy! Very good! Try it you'll never go back to other marinades!

Recipe #102188

Sweet and spicy, the flavors in this salmon are wonderful year round! It can be either grilled or baked.

Recipe #63326

These are great for BBQs! You can use an indoor grill pan or broil them, too, so you can have them all year round. :)

Recipe #28490

This is a quick and easy dish that doesn't take long to make. It has a bit of a bite, so you may want to adjust cumin to your taste.

This dish is a regular served on the beaches of Mexico. Serve it as a seafood appetizer or as a side salad dish. You can alter it to suit your own taste. Make it as spicy or as mild as you wish. My friends all love it. I often use shrimp & fish or shrimp & scallops - when I do this I do not marinate the shrimp as the shrimp tend to get tough. I steam the shrimp and add them a few hours before serving as I mix all the ingredients together. In Mexico when they make this they often add sea water (not recommened). If you are using frozen fish, choose a firm-fleshed fish and make sure it is fully thawed with as much moisture as possible removed.

I noticed very few recipes here on Zaar which use edible lavender so I decided to find some really good ones and post them! I didn't even know you could EAT lavender until I read Rita L's page long ago. Now I notice that one of my FAVE restaurants uses it! This recipe is from

This is really easy and tastes great with a slightly sweet taste. Recipe source: Bon Appetit (October 2005)

I found the recipe for Süllöszelet magyarosan in a cookbook written by Mari Erdei. I have made several changes to the original recipe, e.g. I do not use as much butter as called for in the recipe or omit the flour to thicken the sauce. The sweet flavours of this fish is fantastic. The sauce here with tomatoes and bell peppers isn't overpowering the fish. Serve with a bread to dip up all of the sauce.

This is a delicious recipe, and one I have enjoyed many times. It would make an excellent appetizer for entertaining as well as a great dinner idea!

Crispy! Serve with tartar sauce. You can cut into small pieces before breading so the kids can eat like nuggets. You can also deep fry! Stays crispy for packing in a lunch or picnic! A major importance in artisanal fishing in Africa and the Levant, and are of increasing importance in aquaculture around the world.

These can be cooked indoors- or outdoors on the grill, just use a burger rack to get that smoky flavor!

I don't really know where I got this recipe, but it is the only way we will cook Salmon anymore! Everytime I serve it people rave and beg for the recipe. The cooking times are not exact as I always just watch it depending on the thickness of the salmon steaks, or salmon fillet.

This fish is so easy to prepare and tastes great!

Recipe #44220

This is a fabulous recipe for oven fried tilapia slightly adapted from Paul Prudhomme's wonderful "Fork In The Road" lower fat cookbook. I served this for dinner with family and it got rave reviews. Even my picky 5 year old eater enjoyed it. The ingredient list here is long, but is mostly spices. Please don't be put off, this is wonderful stuff and once you get the spice mixture combined, quite easy to make.

Ramp, are also wild leek, is a wild onion native to North America. Though the bulb resembles that of a scallion, the beautiful flat, broad leaves set it apart. The flavor and odor of ramps is usually compared to a combination of onions and garlic, and the garlic odor is particularly strong. You can grill on foil if you choose or bake

I made this for the first time last night on an almost dare, my cooking skills are not amazing, I am not sure where the recipe originates, my friend gave it to me, anyway it was amazing, to me anyway! It looks difficult and lengthy but it really is not, just takes time to get it together but I love chopping. Prep and cooking time is estimated.

This recipe is from TOH. I haven’t made it yet, but I’m typing it up for ZWT II. 6 servings.

Recipe #172990

This is not for the timid, it is very spicy, but if you like hot food this will not disappoint you.

Recipe #111434

Something different to do with salmon, and really delicious! I think I got the idea for this recipe from Bon Appetit, and just changed a couple of the ingredients. If you don't like sour cream substitute heavy cream instead.
