Recipe #480870

I took ideas from a couple of recipes and made my own. This would be good for any scrubbing surface, yet avoids all the nasty chemicals in store bought cleansers (Comet makes me sick!) Scrub gently on porcelain, if you choose to use it on that. Use the eggshells that you have left over from making eggs. Boil them for a few minutes, then dry in the oven on low (250) for a few minutes. Then grind in a coffee grinder or food processor.

Save money with this lovely smelling spray that is good for your home, your health, and the environment! Use whatever essential oils you like. Lavender is a natural disinfectant and very relaxing. Tea tree oil is a natural anti-fungal, great for mildewy bathroom surfaces.

Highly effective! This recipe was shared with me yesterday by my neighbor, Kathrine. I had to ask her what she put on the weeds at the corner of her lot that adjoins my garden because although her weeds had turned brown and died, so did a large patch of my green grass. That's when she shared this recipe, and let me tell you....IT WORKS! Recipe can be doubled or tripled easily.

Recipe #372406

My cuttingboards are all wood and I don't like to clean them with just warm water and soap. After I wash them I normally pour some hydrogen peroxide on them which works great. But one day I did not have any so I decided I would need to use an alternative. Instead I poured some lemon juice on it because lemon juice is a natural bleach. It worked great! I thought this may be helpful to some other people that would like to use something to clean the wooden cuttingboard that is natural instead of using bleach. Cook time is the amount of time it takes to complete the cleaning process. I went ahead and listed both cleaning products but don't use both at the same time. Use lemon juice OR use hydrogen peroxide. The formatting said that the recipe had to have more than 1 ingredient.

This cleaner is great. I use it for everything. Laundry (1/2 cup per load) Dishes (a squirt in the sink) Dishwashers (in the prewash only)Bathroom. It is a combination of many recipies for laundry soap I have discovered on the web, but it will clean everything! One batch will last a long time and will cost way less than $1. I just discovered a new use for this awesome stuff... It cleans grout! Just pour some on your floor (My kitchen grout was nasty!) and scrub the grout lightly. Rinse it and enjoy clean grout with no nasty chemicals!!!

After a great deal of experimentation in my "lab" (which looks a lot like my kitchen), I developed a cheap, easy to make fake "Jet Dry" type dishwasher rinse aid that works very well. It's natural and non-chemical, but you still need to keep it out of reach of kiddies due to the alcohol content.

WOW! No streaks, no smears, no buffing. This will clean ceramic tile counter tops, windows and their vinyl casings, SS appliances, sealed wood AND it removes hairspray from mirrors. So far that's all I've tried it on, as I came up with this recipe just this morning. I've been a cleaning fool today, experimenting on everything. I love it...Let me know what you think.
