This is a Pampered Chef recipe I had recently at a party I hosted. It is incredible! It is absolutely to die for! Prep time includes baking the pie shell, but not cooling it. Cooking time is dressing the pizza.
Want a dessert pizza but don't want to order out? Try this little piece of heaven! Straight from the Boboli pizza website. Reminds me of summer camp as a kid... This is so great to make for kids parties or sleepovers. Very impressive.
this is a very popular recipe in Egypt
enjoy it warm in the winter, and cool it for the summer days
for those who are not familiar with the whole wheat grains, i'll upload a photo of the grains
cooking time includes leaving the grains in the water overnight
When local strawberries are in season, they are best served with a very simple presentation - like this one. Smaller varieties of strawberries are generally better. Our local pick-your-own farmer is very frank: "The big ones are in this field, the good ones are in that field." I am always amazed that plenty of people will settle for the big ones, just because they are faster to pick. Fuggedaboudit! Life is too short to pick strawberries fast. Get the good ones.
Just loved the wording in this quick and easy recipe from "The Vancouver Sun Newspaper", which I found on the StrawberryJAMM website. In what I’ve included here as step two is an invitation to make a decision! A decision as to what sort of fool you want to make: ‘a smooth fool or a lumpy fool’! I haven’t made this recipe – yet. Have just added it in preparation for the May 2005 "Let’s Get Fresh and SWAP - Recipe Swap". But I do find it appealing, in its simplicity and its quaintness. And in what sounds like its sheer deliciousness. Must confess I’d want to sneak in some liqueur.
