A traditional Southern dish. -- This particular recipe is from my newspaper this week, and it differs from the way my Mom makes it by adding ham-- I've always had it with just the turkey. And my mom substitutes Cheddar cheese for the Colby. It's a good, winter main dish for a cold weekend :)

A great recipe for leftover ham. Serve it over buttered toast or leftover mashed potatoes for a quick and easy meal.

    Recipe #31903

What do you do with that last cup of coffee in the coffee pot? Use it to make this roast for dinner.

    Recipe #37258

I have always loved chicken cordon bleu, but wanted a way to combine the flavors in an easy crock pot recipe. I actually used frozen chicken and ham in mine. I think the flavor turned out pretty good, but when I made this I thought the sauce was too thin, and I wasn't able to get it totally smooth. Any suggestions would be great!

This is my mother's recipe for goulash but I've made a couple of alterations to improve it, such as using beef broth instead of water and real Hungarian paprika instead of Spanish paprika. You can use Spanish paprika if Hungarian is unavailable, but it tastes much better with Hungarian paprika. It is also nice made with stewing veal. When I was a child, I liked this so much that I used to eat it for breakfast if there was any left over from supper!

A burly Burrito, a quick and easy meal.

    Recipe #81216

The other night I wanted salmon, but was busy rushing around the house cleaning and putting groceries away. I peered into the cupboard and grabbed four things that caught my attention, poured and measured them into a jar, put the lid on and shook. I poured it over the salmon, let it sit for 1/2 an hour and then grilled. My mother and husband kept raving all through dinner about how good the salmon was. I hope it was the marinade and not just hunger. These are the proportions (approx.) used.

This is one of the best shrimp dishes I've ever had. It was inspired by a similar dish I had at Bobby Flay's restaurant Bolo a while back. This is fantastic with a good crusty Italian bread to spread the garlic on and soak up the sauce, but you might also try it served over pasta, maybe with a splash of lemon juice.

    Recipe #30756

This is a warm, comforting baked chicken dish with a golden, garlicky crunch. The curry powder works unexpectedly well with the Parmesan cheese, and the dish is particularly good with buttered egg noodles and a crisp salad. Prep time includes marinating in the fridge.

I got this recipe from my Mom. Now all my siblings and I use this recipe when we want something easy and delicious. The meat comes out melt-in-your-mouth tender cooked in its own gravy.

The simple and classic method for escargot. :) This is the way they are prepared at 13 Coins in Seattle.

This is a great week-day supper. Fast and delicious! We always have this with a big bowl of rice, and everyone just loves it - even the kids! You can add any other veggies that your family likes!

This very easy to make dish, combines the sweetness of tomatoes and the briny essence of capers. I found the recipe but changed it to our liking. I make this sometimes for 10 to 12 people. Very easy as it can be made a head . I usally serve it with Rice.

A yummy variation on traditional meatloaf. I have also made this mixture into meatballs as well.

This is a wonderful, flavorful way to make chicken and have a great sauce for some pasta on the side. Tomatoes, onions, and lots of garlic create the base of the sauce, then it's sparked with flavor from olives, red pepper flakes, anchovies and capers. After eating this chicken you will immediately begin talking with your hands and singing opera.
