I found this in a magazine in a doctors office. I love it because you can use any ingredients you happen to have on hand! For vegetarian, omit kielbasa and use vegetable broth in place of chicken broth.

    Recipe #87520

This is one of the best shrimp dishes I've ever had. It was inspired by a similar dish I had at Bobby Flay's restaurant Bolo a while back. This is fantastic with a good crusty Italian bread to spread the garlic on and soak up the sauce, but you might also try it served over pasta, maybe with a splash of lemon juice.

When I visited Amish country in Penn. I fell in love with the Fried Chicken they made. Here is one of their recipes. Very tasty!

    Recipe #107674

A traditional Southern dish. -- This particular recipe is from my newspaper this week, and it differs from the way my Mom makes it by adding ham-- I've always had it with just the turkey. And my mom substitutes Cheddar cheese for the Colby. It's a good, winter main dish for a cold weekend :)

My daughter has a friend with a Filipina caregiver for her grandfather. The last time she was at her house they made these together. It's a fun thing to make with your kids, and pretty good to eat, as well!

    Recipe #25330

Prep time depends on the thickness of your chicken breasts. My first preparation. gained a "very good" rating at home. I'm working on a sauce to add that will turn. this into a good sandwich, also.

    Recipe #32328

I found this recipe on another site when I was looking to use up some leftover smoked gouda. It's very flavorful, easy enough for weekenights yet perfect for a dinner party too.

    Recipe #111169

These are really tasty, and easy to make, too. :) Prep time is the chilling in the fridge.

    Recipe #32422

This is a warm, comforting baked chicken dish with a golden, garlicky crunch. The curry powder works unexpectedly well with the Parmesan cheese, and the dish is particularly good with buttered egg noodles and a crisp salad. Prep time includes marinating in the fridge.

My market had a sale on boneless, country style pork ribs so I stocked up. Not wanting to baste with a tradiditional tomato barbeque sauce, I became bold and made this up as I went along. The end result was very tasty indeed. You could use boneless chicken breasts or boneless pork chops in place of the ribs.

You will not believe the flavor of this chicken. Make a mixture of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, herbs and lemon juice and rub it under the skin of the chicken. Then let the oven do the rest of the work. Recipe found on the internet.

My mother-in-law created this simple version of "stuffed cabbage".

    Recipe #88367

This makes a pizza-like dish, only with barbecue sauce. A quick, simple, tasty dish for a family supper--a definite kid-pleaser. A 9 1/2-oz package of biscuits gives a relatively thin crust. Use a 16 oz package of biscuits if you want a thicker crust. Update: It may be tempting to substitute ground turkey for ground beef in this recipe to make it more "heart-healthy," but because the beef flavor is an important part of this dish's appeal, I recommend against it. Of course, it's only as good as the barbecue sauce you use, so make sure you use a barbecue sauce--and a hot pepper sauce--you know you like.

    Recipe #91866

This was a quick easy meal which I designed when I had a family and worked. I have cooked it for many American friends who call it Aussie Beef and Mushrooms. They all seem to love it.

    Recipe #98042

Oven slow cooked beef with beer.

    Recipe #96740

I found this recipe on All-Recipes on the Internet. It is very good, very different. If you don't like the olives or the vinegar, skip this one. It won't be right without it. My whole family (even the kids) LOVED it!!

    Recipe #35011

This is a staple food in the small Kansas (primarily German-American) town where I was born, and is now a favorite at my house here in Belgium. The recipe comes from my Grandma Rosie. My mother uses a BOX OF HOT ROLL MIX for the roll portion, but as that is not available to me, I have included the hot roll recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens New Cook book. Your yield will depend on the size of rolls you make, but I would estimate about 15 to 20. Preparation time includes time for allowing dough to rise (estimated). Don't let the length of the recipe (or my assembly instructions) spook you, it is really very easy and the assembly is fun for kids, too ! In my opinion they are just as tasty cold as warm from the oven.
