Easy appetizer for adults and a good way to use the cherry tomatoes when your garden takes over. Use the leftover vodka in real Bloody Mary's. The prep time is to poke holes, and to marinate

These are very easy to make for a buffett or appetizer party. I usually double this, because they go fast! Note: The last time I made these, I fried the bacon after I cut it into thirds until it was almost done, cooled slightly on paper towels then wrapped around the water chestnuts and secured with toothpicks. The sauce was a lot less greasy. I cooked for about 5 minutes less. Enjoy!

This is so quick and easy. People can't stop eating them.

This is a delicious garlic mayonnaise that can be used as a vegetable dip, sandwich spread, or let your imagination run wild! This recipe came from Emeril Live at Food TV Network. Definitely a winner for garlic lovers! How about using it potato salad?

This is my signature jelly. I make it for everyone and every occasion. I have even made some and tinted purple for Dreamgoddess' daughters wedding. It is very easy and can be made as hot or as mild as you want. For really hot I use 4 habarnero peppers, for milder, use in the amount called for in recipe using your preference in peppers. I just throw the peppers in the blender in large chunks with the vinegar and let the blender to the chopping for me.

Just like its namesake, the Reuben sandwich. This is so good and a hit when you need an unusual appetizer. People are always surprised when they take that first bite. I think it came from the Taste of Home magazine.

From my favorite online newspaper, the New York Daily News. The food columnist suggests serving this dip with an assortment of crudites - celery, carrot, broccoli and cherry tomatoes.

    Recipe #65136

This is an easy appetizer you can literally whip up in 5 minutes - it's best if you prepare at least 6 hours ahead of serving to allow for chilling and having the flavors 'blend' together. Makes all the difference in the world.

    Recipe #70188

This recipe was printed in the New York Times several years ago. I often use it for my own lunch with some fresh veggies. Flavors are best a room temp, but dip must be stored (long-term) in the fridge. Prep time does not include additional time for flavors to blend.

an easy tasty appetizer for your next party.

These delicious wafers are always the first to disappear on an appetizer tray. An excellent accompaniment to cocktails. Plan ahead as they need to chill before baking.

    Recipe #82841

Adapted from a recipe I found in an Australian recipe booklet - Survival for the Fittest Cookbook. Quick and tasty. NOTE: The bird's eye chilli or Cili Padi is quite spicy, so it's completely optional - depending on your tolerance to heat. I usually use about 5 chillies (I'm quite a chilli-freak!). This can be served as appetizer too, just omit rice and serve the chicken wrapped in lettuce. Or you can wrap with tortilla/stuff it into pita.

If you like horseradish then you'll like these wings. Prep time does not include marinading time.

    Recipe #91397

These are a bit reminiscent of stuffed jalapeño peppers but much easier to make. I found this in the Junior League Celebrations cookbook.

A great version of hummus. (Adopted recipe from the kitchen of Mean Chef.)

These bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers are UNBELIEVABLY good! You'll love them!

    Recipe #105670

Crisp little chips of pepperoni that are an excellent snack with beer or even a glass of wine. They are quite addictive. From World Wide Recipes. UPDATE (10-27-06): I have always purchased Hormell pepperoni, but recently tried an off brand and found that they burned very quickly when I baked them. The length of time for baking will depend on your oven and the pepperoni. You will need to adjust to find the proper time for you...it could be up to 20 minutes.
