Another recipe from a Swedish cookbook left to me by my neighbor Millie. This is a good hearty breakfast made easy by only using 1 pan. It's sure to stick to the ribs and a great way to use leftover ham and potatoes.
My Mother, Nancy, has made this dish for as long as I can remember around the holidays or a birthday, some of the work can be done in advance--this makes a pretty presentation and is very flavorful. Hope you enjoy.
Another find from 5 Star Tasted of the South cookbook, my adaptation. If you prefer things less spicy, then leave out the jalapeno or you could saute them along with the bell peppers to reduce their heat a bit.
These simple little orange rolls begin with refrigerated crescent dough. Quick to make but sure to make a good impression early in the morning! From the Foote Creek Bed & Breakfast in Aberdeen, South Dakota where speedy but impressive food is a must first thing each day. ;o) If you are living in warmer climates, it may help to place the dough in the freezer for a few minutes before slicing.
I do not remember where I got this recipe, but my husband says it tastes just as good as what he had at Denny's. I am just amazed at all of the great reviews on this recipe!! My family loves it, so I thought I would share it here and I'm so glad I did because it seems you all love it just as much!!! Thanks to all of you who have tried it!
I came across this recipe and had to give it a try. What a delicious and easy way to have eggs. This is a great recipe to teach the kids to make so they can make breakfast on their own. *I wanted to add that veggie spray works well and I most often use 1 whole egg and 1 egg white mixed together for a healthier approach- you can't tell the difference!
