this is so wonderful with an italian menu. a restaraunt in our town serves this. last year on my birthday i asked the waitress if i could take some home with me-they normally don't let you take it home. well anyway i figured out what was in it and it is great!!
When our grandkids sleep over, we usually watch a movie; they like seasoned popcorn but we pefer the plain old buttered stuff! Thanx to Martha Stewart, we now spend a little quality time in the kitchen as each child "cooks up" a mix before "show time"! All of the variations can be doubled or tripled, depending on the size of the container you plan to use. The Italian mixture should be kept in the refrigerator, as it contains fresh cheese.
Quick dip that is full of flavor--tangy, sweet, and a bit spicy. I especially love it with pretzels, but it is actually quite versatile and it also good as a sauce on pork or chicken. The recipe was published in a local newspaper several years ago.
Simple to prepare chicken salad that I make up for sandwiches. We never have left-over chicken, so I microwave chicken just to make this. Very basic but very good! P.S. Celery is listed as optional because my husband hates it...if I am only making this for him, I leave it out! :)
This is an easy, simple recipe that goes over well. You can make the filling ahead and scoop out the tomatoes well ahead of time but do not fill the tomatoes until just before serving. I like to add the lettuce to the filling just before filling the tomato however the original recipe said you can mix it in when you combine all the stuffing ingredients. Looks great on a buffet table
Let your foot loose and let them enjoy. Don't forget - Your feet carry you everywhere and they do deserve to be happy just like the rest of you does. Try to think of it this way, 'If you keep your feet happy, wherever they carry you, they'll carry happiness and not only will you be happy, but you will make everyone happy, and, happiness, is the sweetest ingredient of life!". This is from the book, "Ooh la la Perfect body" by Susie Galvez. Enjoy!
