I love the sweet, refreshing Dole pineapple smoothies that are sold at Disneyland. But most recipes I have found for them online require an ice cream maker. This is my easy version of the Pineapple Dole Whip at a fraction of the cost. Word of advice from a Disney fan for your next trip: wait at least one hour after drinking this to ride the Indiana Jones' attraction. (The Enchanted Tiki Room is a better option. Plus the walk from the Dole Whip Hut to the Tiki entrance is a hop, skip and a jump.)
I love clotted cream from England, but it's hard to get here in the US. I found this recipe in a book from the Stars Restaurant, and it comes as close as anything I've tried to real clotted cream. This is a great (IMO, essential) spread for scones and muffins.
Why settle for just plain whipped cream on your dessert? Personalize it to complement the dish...the possibilities are nearly endless. How about orange or peppermint whipped cream on a chocolate dessert, cinnamon whipped cream on apple pie...let your imagination go!
A very easy flavoured cream which goes well on top of any fresh or canned fruit. I like it especially with a mixture of sliced bananas and fresh strawberries. :)
I have also used this to top a nice hot cup of my favourite coffee.
This is a simple and quick recipe that I learned how to make from a family member. It is great for any occasion and is very delicious. I have made it for picnics, cookouts and for dinner parties, and for my husband's shipmates. Everyone loves it and always wants me to make it. I hope you enjoy
The inspiration for the whipped cream came from Bon Appetit December 2002 issue. I've changed the measurements to my own taste. This whipped cream is delicious on anything with apples such as pie, cobbler and apple bread (see recipe 76946 for a great combo). Also would be nice on top of hot chocolate or coffee!
