To save time, I oven-bake breaded or battered frozen fish (but if we had a deep fryer, I'd probably use it). I slice cabbage very thin, it works better for the tacos than shredded cabbage. Add your favorite tortillas, and you have an easy, crunchy, and great tasting meal. Prep time is just for making the sauce.
A wonderful dish using a combination of four fresh herbs, fresh bread crumbs, garlic and butter. Serve on a bed of arugula tossed with olive oil and lemon juice. Original recipe from Wolfgang Puck of the Food Network.
I have not had these shrimp at the Chili's restaurant, but have frequently made this recipe. We like to serve them as appetizers. However, they are equally as good tossed with some pasta (with or without alfredo sauce). The recipe came from Top Secret Recipes and has been a favorite at our house for quite some time.
This recipe was found online by a friend from work and it immediately became one of our favorites. The casserole is so creamy and perfectly flavored. It makes a very elegant presentation served in individual ramekins.
These salmon cakes are delicious as a light lunch or dinner and can also be served as appetizers. This is from an advertisement for Chicken of the Sea salmon. I have also made this with canned chicken instead of salmon with great results.
You can cheat and make this with imitation crabmeat but of course the real stuff is better, if you are using frozen crabmeat make certain to squeeze out any excess moisture before using for this recipe --- if you are a spinach lover then add in the full box of spinach if not just use half a box as the spinach tends be over powering, you can use 1 pound fresh spinach in place of frozen --- you can stuff the shells and refrigerate until ready to bake, and this is also great with a red sauce instead of the Parmesan cheese sauce :)
This shrimp is deep fried and then coated with a very spicy buffalo sauce. Not for the faint of heart! I love this served with bleu cheese dressing for dipping. Prep time includes resting time in the refrigerator.
Yes it's a copycat recipe. I like it very much so wanted to share it. If you are in hurry you can substitute the shrimp with store bought pre-battered frozen shrimp.
Get the Bang Bang sauce from from www.dinnisselect.com
I understand that the sauce from Dinnis is no longer called Bang Bang Sauce. Now you should order Dinnis Shrimp Sauce (very hot). 5/2010
Marinated cod, cabbage, and zesty white sauce lend authentic Baja flavors to these easy to make tacos. This recipe was posted by a popular seasoning company and adapted from a cooking websites newsletter. Included in the 2006 Zaar World Tour - Mexico.
