I found this simple, super-quick-to-make recipe for Marinated Greek Feta in the November 2005 issue of the Australian magazine 'Super Food Ideas'. It was one of several recipes for entertaining guests with a Greek banquet. I have posted it for the 2005 Zaar World Tour. The preparation time does not include the overnight chilling time.
These quick 'n easy quesadillas are perfect for the late night snacker with discriminating tastes, or the bachelor/ette cooking for one. (though multiples are entirely possible - cooking them simultaneously will surely take balancing!). When cut into smaller wedges, these are also ideal as appetizers, and can be served between warm and room temperature. (*a plus to serve on St. Patty's day, as all the ingredients are GREEN!)
I first tasted this appetizer at an office Christmas party and I was hooked. It is super easy to make, time saving because you make it the night before and is loaded with great taste. Your mouth with thank you for the explosion of flavors.
Found this recipes years ago (don't know where it originated) and everytime I make it, people can't get enough of it. They will crowd around in the kitchen waiting for the next batch to come out, so BEWARE!
I got this recipe off of "Everyday Italian" with Giada De Laurentiis. TALK about GOOD!! I made it for my husband (who is a ONLY meat and potatoes kind of guy) and he flipped! It's even better than cheese sticks...and who can top that?
