I make this often for our Football Sunday snack time. This dip is so easy to make, and it's always so good! One word of warning, though: if you don't like spicy-hot flavors, back off on the jalapenos a bit.
This recipe is a saucy buffalo shrimp great for dinner or appetizers. You may need to add a bit here or there to suit your personal tastes. T Marzetti's Blue Cheese dressing is a MUST..on the side of course along with lime or lemon wedges. To serve as a delicious appetizers, you could place a toothpick into each shrimp.
Hey you Paula Deen fans, she has a new magazine, "Cooking with Paula Deen"--this recipe is from the premier issue. It was so yummy looking, I couldn't wait to try it. I added another 15 minutes to the cooking time suggested (30-35 minutes) and It was just right, but oven temperatures vary, so check on it during the last few minutes of cooking time. I'm also going to add a few dashes of cayenne pepper next time for something hot and sweet!
This dip is so easy to make and everyone loves it! At every potluck, if I don't bring it, my invitation is immediately revoked! A good friend made this one night for a 'girl's night' at her house. I adjusted the ingredients a bit, and the rest is history. I like to make this the night before so the flavors have a chance to develop. The dip is thick and will break your chips, so it's best spooned onto a plate to enjoy!
This is *the* ultimate sandwich for leftover roast beef, I also make this using thinly sliced leftover steak, you may adjust all amounts as desired, the amounts listed should make 6-8 sandwiches depending on the amounts used in the sandwiches --- I suggest to use crusty buns for this, they will hold the sauce better :)
These are easy to make and can be made hours in advance or a day ahead and chilled until ready to pop in the oven, instead of cheddar you can use a mixture of you favorite cheeses, I like using marbled mixed with the cheddar. If you are serving these as an appetizer you can use 10-12 small russet potatoes instead of large --- all ingredients may be adjusted to taste --- these are very good!
I've started experimenting with dry mixes adding them to hamburger to "perk up" the flavor, this is the latest! We felt like we were eating at a very upscale bistro cafe! Hope you try them before the summer is over, they are to die for! Enjoy!
The first time I ever had “buffalo wings”, I just about flipped!! What an awesome idea that lady from Buffalo, New York had!!! Ever since then, I’ve used the same concept making dips, pizzas, salads, and my latest concoction…HOAGIES! They are REALLY good!!
The combination of frozen meatballs and chile verde sauce was a very happy discovery... the results are absolutely delicious! (And they're almost ridiculously easy to prepare, too.) I plan on making these in the future for potlucks and as appetizers. This is another Pantry Challenge recipe, where I use items I already have at home to make meals.
