    An original recipe created by Chef Scott Meskan, George's at the Cove. We enjoyed this when we visited this restaurant in La Jolla, California. This recipe is requested so often, they have it printed and ready at the hostess stand. It's unbeatable at the restaurant, but I do a pretty good job at home, too, if I do say so myself!

    My Grandmother-In-Law gave me this recipe because so many of our family have celiac disease or are allergic to wheat. I love it so much, that I now use it for all of my pies. If you don't like almonds, you can use any other nuts instead

    I am basically "allergic to the universe." This recipe came from my personal desire to make pancakes which do not contain white flour or white sugar. The recipe is quick, simple and very healthy. The pancake itself is not sweet tasting because it has no sweetener, however, it can be easily sweetened by adding Stevia, Steviva, or some other sweetener to the batter. I have elected to sweeten the pancake by adding honey and fruit.

    This recipe came from Allrecipes (Ruth Crickmer). My whole family loved it even though it cooked too fast. The original recipe said 'high heat' on the grill, which my husband did. It ended up cooking 8 minutes total, charred but not burnt tasting, and very juicy and flavorful. We'll turn down the heat next time for texture, but this is a keeper in our home!

This frittata is my own take on one of my brunch favorites – with autumnal flavors that give another reason to love sleepy Sunday mornings.     I adore this salad! For a dinner party, this could be assembled early in the day and drizzle the dressing on just before serving. Toss the avocado and apples in a little lemon juice to prevent oxidation.

    This is one of my kids real favourites. I'll often throw in more apricots and almonds than the recipe calls for. This is a large loaf and can be reduced in size by multiplying all ingredients by 2/3 and reducing the cooking time by 10 minutes.
