    One of our favorite Asian dishes, especially when served with homemade Chinese pancakes! The meat needs to marinate anywhere from 15 minutes to 8 hours ahead of time. I like to use my recipe for recipe #399018 along with this.

    Very good Greek stew, I love the addition of cinnamon to the meat! The original recipe also calls for 1 tsp salt, which I leave out as we try to reduce our sodium intake as much as possible. I also leave out the onions because I don't care for them and the stew still has plenty of flavor that way, in my opinion. We do this in the crock pot, but the original says that you can cook the stew in a heavy kettle, covered, for 1 1/2 hours.

    This recipe is a modification of a contest winner from Near East for original couscous creations. We omitted the green onion for personal tastes. I've only made it once, and it was a little bit bland using just the ingredients below, but was improved by putting some more lime juice on it. We will also try adding more cayenne pepper next time.

    My grandma's recipe. She was an excellent baker and she actually had a small business of selling these cakes. I have not made this yet because I don't have an angel food cake pan, but I ate it several times growing up, and it is absolutely wonderful, the fluffiest angel food I've ever had! Serve with whatever toppings you like, my favorite is fresh strawberries and whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!

    From my mother-in-law. This carrot cake does not have a cream cheese frosting. I have not had this yet, but my hubby says it's wonderful. He says that he can't taste the bananas in the cake, but it's been years since he's had it, so that might be wrong. He says it's really good though.
