Butter-flavored crackers make a delicious crust for this Ranch dressing-style quiche. Go easy on dressing mix or pie will be too salty!
Prep time doesn't include cooling pie shell.
With my modifications, from America's Favorite Casseroles.
Makes a great less than 30 minute week night dinner. An original recipe that I created for the 2 for 1: Leftovers Challenge in Cooking Photos. Make it your own by adding other or more veggies, and by increasing the hot red chili sauce--if you're a red hot lover. LOL
Required to marinate over night. This is a tasty blend of spices, citrus juice and molasses. Lovely aroma while they are baking. If you wish to BBQ oven cook them first and finish them on the BBQ last 15 minutes. Be careful the molasses in the sauce will burn easily
This is a very weird introduction because I am recommending that you do not make this recipe! I posted it in the morning and made it for dinner - It is very plain, has a nice but not outstanding flavor - It truly is a Ho Hum recipe - If you like very plain with a lovely garlic flavor this is for you
Squeeze the roasted garlic on each bite of duck Mmmmm
These are very tasty and quite different from your regular "Poppers". Serve these as appetizers or as a side dish with a Mexican style meal. You can make these in the morning but wait to drizzle on the pecans until just before putting them in the oven If you are making them ahead, store in the fridge lightly covered until you are ready to bake them. Try them--I think you'll like them.
NB There was a wrong amount for the mace in the recipe - It said 1 tsp. It is now corrected to the correct amount of 1/4 tsp.
Easy Tasty appetizer. Can be a "Do ahead" recipe. If you wish you can
make this as a side dish for dinner just double the size of the
crepes. The crepes as appetizers should be apprx 6" across. The recipe
may be cut in half or doubled. Make a large batch of crepes they
freeze really well. Just layer them with wax paper between each and
wrap well in plastic . Then you will have them on hand for any easy
appetizer - Enjoy!
Ths is a recipe I threw together from thingsI had leftover on hand. I couldn't find a duplicate recipe on Zaar so I am posting this one. It is spicy but you may make it hotter or decrease the heat with the amount of Chipotle in Adobo sauce you use.
Quick and easy
This is a very healthy recipe that your family will love for
breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you wish, heat the fruit with the
sweetener, to serve over the pancakes. Use any variety of berries for
I was just fooling around and came up with this simple recipe - served as an appetizer at midnight New Years Eve, If you have never worked with Rice paper there is a tutorial here on Zaar. Rolls were served with recipe #33113 I used the small rice paper rounds but you can use the larger ones and have these as a side dish.
This recipe is easy to make and a little different from your usual lamb recipes. Buy chops that have the filet attached, not shoulder chops. They should be apprx 1" thick. Fry for 4 minutes each side for slightly pink. Longer if you want well done. Make the sauce early in the day (or the day before) and reheat while you are cooking the chops. Dinner will be on the table in a few minutes. The sauce is great over your veggies and new potatoes.
These are so simple and easy. You do most of the preparation ahead of time. The surprise is the healthy broccoli in the recipe. It works. Use scissors to finely snip the broccoli - It makes it so easy. I suggest using full cream sour cream but if you want it lower fat sub 2% cottage cheese for the sour cream - Be sure that you enjoy Blue cheese - especially warm blue cheese before making this recipe or you won't enjoy it!. The filling does rise a bit so do not over fill the shells. — Bon appetite.
