Nice dish made of left overs!

    Recipe #221049

This dish is something my husband has been making for a long time but only waited until now, many years into our marriage, to make for me. Fast and delicious served with steamed or fried rice, last night we added Recipe #146178 for a decadent feast!

    Recipe #299934

Not only on a salad, I am fond of this (at room temperature) on barbecued veggie kebabs.

    Recipe #30470

Try this tasty oriental chicken dish, made with minimum fuss but with maximum taste. Perfect meal for one but easily scaled up for more!

    Recipe #239352

Loaded with vegetables this Asian beef noodle soup is also low in calories but full of flavor.

    Recipe #279986

A Thai-influenced Japanese-style dish. See my "Asian Dipping Sauce" recipe for accompaniment.

    Recipe #319629

Cooking for one doesn't have to lead to tons of leftovers. Enjoy this one-person stir-fry next time you're dining solo.

    Recipe #88087

From a Diabetic cookbook. Dietary exchanges are 2 starch, 3 lean meat, 1 vegetable, and 1/2 fat.

    Recipe #133225

The Benihana fried rice recipe. It used to be posted on their website.

    Recipe #141457

This is a fried rice recipe I came up with over time. I usually cook from scratch, just adding as I go along. But I've tried to approximate the ingredients for this the best I could. The rice is best when cooked the day or hours before and kept refrigerated for at least a few hours. I've seperated everything out in easy steps, but as you're comfortable & able to multi task feel free to chop & cook multiple things at once! Hope you enjoy!

This recipe makes a great duo dinner. Or, you can easily double, triple or even quadruple it! Assemble in advance, then just throw in the oven 30 minutes before you are ready to eat! Serve over hot noodles or rice. Update: I have to admit that I prefer a good sirloin or filet mignon, but my DH actually prefers the top round steak (as written) in this recipe. Add minced garlic in place of the garlic powder, if you like, and also a pinch of freshly ground black pepper, is good. Recipe is from Cooking Sampler for 1 or 2 with Reynolds Consumer Products. Uses one regular size (10"x16") Reynolds Oven Cooking Bag (or use heavy duty aluminum foil).

I make this with Shanghai Bok Choy, a smaller Bok Choy than the regular one with light green ribs rather than the white ribs. If you have Bok Choy in a Chinese restaurant, they tend to slice it lengthways and cook the whole thing at once. I decided to cook the ribs and leaves separately and accidentally came up with this recipe because I was distracted after adding the ribs. I found that by overcooking the ribs slightly, they take on an almost buttery flavour, a nice contrast to the freshness of the leaves. I make this with Easy Prep Vegetable Stock (Recipe #247153). One serving of this soup contains quite a lot of protein and is suitable for South Beach or Sure Slim weight loss programmes.

    Recipe #264604

This is Chef Sanjeev Kapoor's recipe. Enjoy!

    Recipe #164982

From one of my Chinese cookbooks. It's in Chinese, so some measurements are a little general. It's pretty simple, and what can be better than chicken and ginger on a cold day?

    Recipe #109784

These are scrumptious little bites! Adapted from Mass Recipes.

This Americanized Chinese recipe is a fusion of two classic dishes- orange chicken and sesame chicken. I found it on an excellent blog, " Appetite for China". This recipe makes extra sauce (perfect for rice!).

    Recipe #370734

Chinese fried rice that tastes just like in the Chinese restaurants. I have tried many recipes and was never able to make it taste like in the restaurants until I met someone who was a chef in a Chinese restaurant and let me in on the secrets.

    Recipe #142346

This is an easy recipe. The chicken is extra crispy with out being greasy and the sauce is excellent.

    Recipe #279388

A local restaurant serves a salad similar to this and after a lot of experimenting I came up with a pretty good imitation. I stop on the way home from work at the local Chinese restaurant to pick up the fried wonton strips. Don't let the number of ingredients scare you off as it assembles quickly and easily. You can make the dressing ahead of time and store in the refrigerator.
