Decadent chocolate truffles flavored with raspberry and walnuts. Now that's a combo that belongs together. Nocello is fabulous so do try to use it for the walnut liqueur and Chambord is a good choice for the raspberry liqueur.

    Recipe #410498

These are not rich as one would think and soo easy to make as there is no baking required! Great for parties or holidays!

    Recipe #408081

Saw this recipe in the Finnish Elle magazine at the hair dresser's in November - couldn't get a copy, googled, hopeful, and found this at Anne's Food blog. I *think* it is the same one I was drooling over while getting my hair done! Not sure who to credit now, but it's an interesting recipe nonetheless!

    Recipe #404215

From chef Michael Smith (via www.foodtv.ca), a very basic truffle recipe that can be customized in a zillion ways. I find truffles are really quite simple to make, but pretty time consuming. Most definitely worth it for special occasions! Plain truffles are delicious, but try adding peppermint or liqueur flavourings (such as Kahlua or Grand Mamier) to yours. Then, coat them in chocolate and decorate them with your favourite topping. The combinations and variations are endless, and entirely up to you! Cook time does NOT include time to chill. Truffles can be stored in a covered container in the fridge for a couple of weeks. I've had no problems freezing them, either!

    Recipe #381153

These will be the easiest truffles you've ever made and they are sooo yummy! They are a tradition at my house for Christmas and we coat them in pink-tinted white chocolate for my daughter's birthday. You can shape them like eggs for Easter and dip them in dyed white chocolate or roll them in colored sugar. You can add different flavorings, different coatings, substitute milk, dark or white chocolate... the variations are endless. No matter how you finish these, they will taste great! The original recipe came from one of the chocolate companies several years ago but I can't remember which one.

Kahlua and coffee is used to flavor this ganache to make these decadent chocolate truffles.

I bet you have a can of cranberry sauce in your pantry! This is a great way to use it. Make these flavorful truffles that are and tender and so good. Great for the holidays or anytime. Try adding some very finely minced candied ginger for a nice kick. Can be frozen and brought to room temperature, Re-coat with cocoa and serve.

    Recipe #360883

This is a wonderful truffle recipe: It's very quick to put together and still tastes like a ton of work went into it. It can be easily varied by subbing any other alcohol or flavoured-syrup for the rum.

What do you get when you combine white/milk/dark chocolate with peanut butter? A small waiting period between adding different layers. From a supermarket handout.

These are an essential for the truffle plate at Christmas. They take minutes to make and look great. Dipping in dark chocolate and then drizzling white chocolate over the top looks divine. You could also use red/green sprinkles for that festive touch.

    Recipe #270520

This is such a wonderful way of serving your chocolate truffles at Christmas or New Year - or indeed any special winter festival! I do make my own truffles for this, but you can buy ready-made truffles for ease and speed of course! I love to see my family and friend's faces when I bring the coffee and "chocolates" out with this Truffle Tree! Allow yourself plenty of time to assemble this, the plant pot and the tree "trunk" can be prepared beforehand; once the chocolate truffle tree has been assembled, it will be fine for up to 2 days before you need to serve it, stored in a very cool and dry place - NOT a fridge however. I have made this with a well-known gold wrapped chocolate nut truffle before, as well as the white chocolate and coconut version by the same company! The truffles shown in my photos are local hand-made truffles, but any "firm" high chocolate truffle is fine. I have my own truffle recipe posted on zaar, Recipe #271012 which also works very well with this tree! Have fun - and just watch your guest's faces when you bring this out!! NB: You can also make this with marshmallows and other suitable sweets or candy, especially for children.

These sinfully rich chocolate truffles will make a lovely gift in the festive season! They're easy to make and they also freeze well. Use different "finishes" for a professional look. I give the metric amounts as well. Time to make is very hard to pin down, so I guessed that. I also have no idea how many chocolates an individual cook might make -- depends on size and whether you use a filling like a nut -- so had to guess.

These are rich and delicious but easy to make with simple ingredients. I got these from my cousin Maria who rolled them in chocolate sprinkles but I prefer them dipped in melted chocolate.

    Recipe #246644

The recipe for these tasty little morsels was found on the back of a pkt of coconut flakes, thought it sounded really nice & it is, simple too!

You can use a milk chocolate instead of dark. I received the recipe with a box of these truffles as a gift. Some were rolled in coconut.

    Recipe #236572

Easy truffles taste just like you bought them at a gourmet candy store! In addition to what I've listed, you can roll them in powdered sugar, cocoa powder, other confections to make them a truly unique candy!

    Recipe #222220

I’m not very good at making cakes so whenever I needed to bring a plate of sweets to a morning or afternoon tea, I would make these. They are so easy to make. My daughter helps me rolled the coconut on the balls. Enjoy.
