Spread the love. A friend of mine uses this recipe with a white flour and corn masa mix instead of the white/wheat mix below and it's delicious. It's also suggested that you double (or triple) the recipe and freeze either the dough or the prepared tortillas. I will never buy tortillas again.

This is awesome! If you love brisket or beef cooked in the smoker and just don't have time to, or maybe the weather won't permit- you have to try this. I have used EVERY cut of beef roast or brisket, it always comes out great! Enjoy!

    Recipe #140878

This is a great summer meal and quick and easy to put together and tastes wonderful. Refreshing served with the cucumber sauce and is even low in fat. I think this came from Quick Cooking. It's a favorite in our house.

A British tea time favorite. This is sweet and tart. Try it on scones, muffins, and tea breads or layer on Angel Food cake with Raspberries and recipe #54868! I've also microwaved this just watch and stir a lot. For orange or lime curd, substitute appropriate fruit rind and juice. Proceed as directed. FYI- When filling a cake with this be sure to pipe a rim of frosting on the edge of the first layer, then fill inside with the chilled lemon curd, place top layer then frost.

I don't even like Pork, but was tricked into tasting this dish when I was told it was chicken. WOW! The meat was sooo tender and juicy; so tender in fact, that it was literally falling apart! It was like nothing I'd ever tasted before! Definitely not like my mother's hard, crusty pork chops! lol! This recipes goes hand in hand w/ some mashed potatoes. Just pour the leftover gravy on the taters' and enjoy!

    Recipe #45940

I plan on making this with the Baked Pork Spring Rolls when I get a chance. It looks yummy!

I just made this up. I wanted something different than the usual apricot jam so I added some almond extract and cinnamon. When you open the jar you can smell the almond but it isn't overpowering. They both are mostly a background taste. It is a softer jam but not syrupy. Great on bread with peanut butter. UPDATE: It did jell up after about a month.

Whenever I need cooked beets, I don't boil them, I bake them. They're less messy, easier to handle and far tastier. The moisture is inside the beets, not in the boiling water. I've included 2 ways to use them.

I know, I know, they sound weird but trust me on this when I tell you they are really tasty! These burgers are a bit different and a lot healthier for you than most. Try them before you say "eeewwww." Prep time includes the time needed to build the burgers after they are cooked.

THIS is how tzatziki should be. NO ONIONS! I've never had tzatziki with onions before but notice that most of the recipes on here seem to include them?! This is simple, delicious and exactly as authentic Greek tzatziki should be. I make this with virtually fat free greek yoghurt and about half the oil and it still comes out beautifully. Keeps in the fridge for 2-3 days, however I suggest you make it the evening before you want it because leaving it overnight really allows the flavours to infuse. Yummy!

This is a basic recipe that every cook should know how to make. My family loves this with mashed potatoes and gravy. When all 4 of my kids lived at home I would often roast 3 chicken at a time, so there would be leftovers for chicken pie, sandwiches, or Ceasar Salad. Try different combinations or amounts of the herbs and spices, we tend to like our food highly seasoned.

This recipe can be substituted in ANY pasta sauce or recipe, and it can be eaten hot or cold. Very versatile main or side dish - and very hard to screw up.

I don't usually care for hummus, but when I tried this at my friend's I couldn't stop eating it. It's important to use fresh lemons, extra virgin olive oil, and high quality garbanzo beans--you don't want ones that start out crunchy. I served this with Lavosh bread that was brushed with olive oil, sprinkled with salt and pepper and baked at 350F for 8-10 minutes.

from his website. He writes, "This one is sure to please even finicky eaters, especially when served with steamed rice. A real kid-pleaser, too. Serve this with steamed brown basmati rice and raw vegetables for a kid-pleasing meal. Leftovers are delicious cold!"

    Recipe #217120

A cast-iron skillet will work the best for this recipe, this also works well using beef that has been pounded thinly. Serve with fries or mashed potatoes...total comfort food! Make certain not to crush the crackers to a fine powder --- this is very good!

    Recipe #201511

This is handy when you have forgotten to buy baking powder.

    Recipe #38711

A very good sauce from one of our favorite cooking shows.

    Recipe #33563

I've made this several times and it always turns out good. Make sure you knead the dough for the required 5-7 minutes. I have added dried herbs and onion flakes right into the dough as well.

I cannot resist sharing this recipe with you all, if only to try to preserve its delightful name! Nobody appears to know where the name originated from, although it has been suggested that it was an enterprising farmer’s wife, using up her windfall fruit that came up with the quirky name. The jam is thought to originate from Worcestershire, although Gloucestershire also lays claim to it! Nevertheless, this is a wonderful jam which makes full use of three of my favourite Autumn fruits – Apples, Pears and Plums. The jam is a lovely deep rosy pink colour and is delicious not only on bread, toast and scones – but also when used in steamed jam puddings such as Jam Roly-Poly. Do not omit the lemon and ginger – they are the key to the flavour in this lovely jam. The recipe is easily increased or reduced, as long as the ratio of fruit is the same, it works just as well. N.B. It is sometimes seen as Dumpsie Dearie Jam. Please note that I have quoted UK yield - we use pound and half pound jars, which I believe may equate to pint and half pint jars in the States.

These buttermilk biscuits are authentic. This recipe came from my great-great-grandmother, and was handed down to all the women in my family, and we are all Southern. I am the first one to commit the sin of using a food processor (lol) but I find it works very well. I would put these biscuits up against anyone's - they are perfect in every single way. I hope you all enjoy them.
