A famous Japanese pork dish that my mom/sis often makes. Had to ask how this was done since I just miss this so much! Asking details from sis was a bit difficult since she just eyes it. I usually substitute it with chicken too and I still love it although she raised her eyebrow when I told her that :D Well, I love to give myself options! :)
I love Spring Rolls and I love shrimp but what I didn't like with most of the spring rolls you buy is that they are to greasy or not the right veggies - so I came up with my own and here I am sharing with you as well!
I love the maple scones at a local coffee shop, this recipe is an attempt to recreate those. It was my first attempt at making scones and they turned out yummy! I will definitely make these again. Edited to add: I have made them again and this time I made muffins! It worked great, I got 12 muffins out of this recipe, baked for the the same time at the same temperature.
My mom got this recipe 30 years ago from a friend of hers who was from Australia. I don't know if this is an Australian dessert, I have heard that it is similar to a Canadian dessert called Nanaimo bars, though. This is a Christmas tradition in my family, but is wonderful anytime!
This is a holiday tradition in my family for over 40 years. I got the recipe from my mom, for these German cookies. Actually, I am not a fan of anise, so I plan to make them with another flavoring. Recipe yield is unknown, I just entered a random value. Enjoy!
