Kids and adults alike will be eager to walk in the door when you've got this snack waiting for them. It's not overly sweet, yet contains so many favorite ingredients to create joyful smiles. A bonus is that you can choose to make 2 loaves of bread, 15-18 muffins, or a combo of each! *Listed cooking time is for bread...muffins take just 20-25 minutes. Created for RSC #12.

    Recipe #317881

extremely rich and delicious! It doesn't really have cookie dough in it but the filling makes it taste like it does.

Make sure you use sliced peaches in water (no sugar added), not in syrup. Otherwise you can cut back on the sugar. Serve with vanilla ice cream!

A recipe from my mom. Great for any dinner party dessert.

    Recipe #297659

These are really tasty. I tend to glaze them in a mixture of butter, honey, and icing sugar.

    Who doesn't love chocolate?

    Recipe #296545

My kids just love to order this at Mexican restaurants so I couldn't resist saving this recipe. It is from Taste of Home.

This is a nice and refreshing quick bread loaf. It is perfect for gift giving or enjoying with your afternoon tea, and it freezes well too. It is one of my top sellers at our local Farmer's Market. Give it a try...I'm sure you will enjoy it.

    Recipe #294374

Shockingly healthy, absolutely delicious, and easy too! Adapted from a recipe in 'Foods that Fight Disease'. Note: add more orange juice concentrate for more zing =]

    Recipe #292302

I got this recipe out of a Taste of Home book last summer and I love this recipe. I made it for a BBQ and my daughter requested it as a birthday cake. I've also used strawberries and blueberries for 4th of July celebration. The recipe recommends slicing the cake with a serrated knife. To split the cake into three layers I use dental floss - Makes a nice clean cut.

This recipe came from the Martha Stewart's web site. It is probably best to use fresh blueberries in this recipe, or if you use frozen make sure they are well thawed out. The sugar topping makes a crunchy topping. I love the addition of lemon zest in the scones, because it brings out the blueberry taste. Instead of zest you can also use lemon oil (1/4 tsp), and you will get a mild background lemony taste. Probably best to make these on the day you will eat them. They are not as good the day after. Right out of the oven with a pipping hot cup of coffee is the way to go!

    Lower fat and sugar free!

    Recipe #287728

To dress these up, place a walnut half on top of each muffin before baking. Also, take care to buy plain pumpkin puree, not spiced puree that may be labeled "pie filling."

    So simple and so good!

    Recipe #286016

Microwave cooking - quick and easy snack. Pretty healthy snack for all. I've made it once and it was a hit then! Now with 'zaar I will remember to make it again! From TOH 1998 Cookbook - submitted by N. Horan

These will be THE LAST peanut butter chocolate chip recipe you try! YUMM. These taste really sinful, but they are actually healthy for you. I adapted this recipe from the classic nestle one. (shh...I think these are even BETTER) They are very thick, soft, and chewy cookies and I promise you that NO ONE will be able to eat just one. I hope you enjoy baking (and eating) these as much as I do.

    Recipe #275906

I make these butter tarts only at Christmas. They are small morsels of sweet sublime. I always use whole pecans--each tart gets its own crown of a whole pecan before baking.

    Recipe #273791

After first trying this years ago my 2nd son declared -who needs banana bread?! - and this became our favorite choice for doing away with overripe bananas. The recipe originally had an optional chocolate glaze, I've always skipped it and just added a light dusting of confectionary sugar. This is a pretty sturdy cake which makes it great for picnics, potlucks and lunch bags - the same son recently took 1/2 a cake with him for the drive back to S.CA! An extra note - seeing some of the comments - this is not a tall cake it only rises a littel more than half way up the pan. Ovens are different - go with a shorter cooking time and check to see if needs more.
