My old friend Pat gave me this recipe 20 years ago and I really love these easy puffs....a little too much, as my waistline attests!

    Recipe #226001

For pretty pastel coloured cupcakes, add in a few drop of desired food colouring my recipe#80118 goes wonderful with these cupcakes --- I use 2 cups icing sugar and 1/2 cup white granulated sugar instead of processing the sugar, it works out fine this way.

This is a MUST if you have never tried a homemade Angel Food Cake. I never liked Angel Food Cakes until the neighbor lady invited me over for coffee shortly after I was married. That was almost 15 years ago, and my children and husband always ask for this for special occasions. Thank you Artie, for being a wonderful friend and for the recipe!

After just making this again I think some may find the filling too thick so I am changing the instructions to say 2-4 tablespoons of cornstarch. We like our apples diced so it takes 3-4 large apples to achieve 4 cups. I also used the micro.this time stirring every couple minutes. No chance of burning on the bottom that way.

Microwave cooking - quick and easy snack. Pretty healthy snack for all. I've made it once and it was a hit then! Now with 'zaar I will remember to make it again! From TOH 1998 Cookbook - submitted by N. Horan

This is my favorite loaf/muffin recipe that I concocted through trial and error trying to make a traditional pumpkin bread somewhat healthier. It produces very dense, delicious bread or muffins, which I like to eat warm with a spread of coconut oil instead of butter. I sometimes switch up the flours/brans/meals I use, and you can add raisins or shredded carrots, etc. for variety. I say practically vegan because I cannot guarantee that all the ingredients were made in a vegan-friendly way, though I presume they probably were. I am not vegan, but I like the idea of using flax instead of eggs since I eat so many eggs already. *I actually use 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 xylitol, but since xylitol is not in the ingredient list here I put all brown sugar.

This is a Farm Jounal recipe from the 70's . Easy and no-fry!

You will have a hard time believing that this frozen treat is not really ice cream, but is a good-for-you all fruit dessert. I serve this to the kids in the family and they love to build their own sundaes. It melt fast, so serve it right away or stick it in the freezer.

Why compromise the banana flavor? My banana bread is moist and delicious with loads of banana flavor! Ultimate comfort food, and it's WONDERFUL TOASTED!! (Make sure to use bananas with a lot of black on them for the best flavor! The blacker the bananas, the stronger the banana flavor of the bread.)

If you've never had a beignet, they are simply delicious!! Light airy pillows of fried dough something like a French donut ^_^

    Recipe #243434

These can be used for desserts, breakfasts, snacks, even the main course! The batter needs to be refrigerated for at least 1 hour before cooking.

From Sunset "Cookies" (1985). I have made formatting modifications from the original recipe for clarity but all the steps and ingredients are the same as the cookbook. This is a bar version of the German Bienenstich cakes.

These have remained a family favorite for years and I still make them, you may omit the chocolate chips but I like to add them in, also you may use 1/2 cup each butter and shortening if desired :)

These cookies have been loved by the most anti-peanut butter cookie people. The trick is twice as much peanut butter as your average-joe cookie recipe, and some leavening changes to help turn out a thick, chewy cookie. And the peanut butter matters... I use Adams brand natural organic peanut butter (you can pour out some of the oil if you want), or you can make your own at a health food store like Wild Oats or Whole Foods.

Topped with a cinnamon-sugar crumb, these kid-friendly muffins--bursting with blueberries--taste like mini coffee cakes.
