This is just as good as the Olive Garden. On a difficluty scale from 1-5 this is a 3 to make. We just love it! Please note: this is an adopted recipe and I hope to make it soonest. If you make it before I do than I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks ! ZWT REGION: Italy.

This is an elegant dish. The first time I made them, my husband thought I picked them up from a restaurant. Was he ever surprised! This would make a nice romantic dinner with candlelight! The recipe seems long but it includes a recipe for the filling, the Mornay Sauce, and crepes themselves.

Sick of lumpy sauce? Hate making that flour and butter roux? Here's the answer! This is the easiest version of White Sauce ever. You won’t believe it works until you try it! You will need a wire balloon whisk for this recipe and you must make sure that all ingredients are cold (or at least at room temperature) to begin with. Thanks to English food writer, Delia Smith, for discovering this all-in-one method. The following are my simplified adaptations for Basic White Sauce, along with variations for Mustard Sauce, Cheese Sauce (Mornay Sauce) and Parsley Sauce.

My spin on Outback's Creamy Onion Walkabout soup...Please follow steps for the "white sauce" first...This tastes just like the restaurant!***The secret is the bay leaves...I found them in my soup @ Outback & knew that was the missing ingredient! This is the only recipe out there that includes the bay leaves!!!! This soup is my ALL TIME FAV!! (The WHITE SAUCE ingredients are the first 3 listed items on top) ENJOY!!!

This is a Paula Deen recipe which has become a favorite in our house. It is a hearty, comfort-food type of meal. The white sauce and potatoes are absolutely delicious. It takes a bit of time to prepare but the results are well worth it! I also like to serve this with a steamed vegetable and/or salad. Enjoy!

This is a medium white sauce, to be used on creamed casseroles, scalloped foods, etc.

I am posting this recipe, by request. It is a very nice non-tomato sauce vegetarian lasagna. Not gluten-free!

This is in response to a request for the sauce served on Olive Garden's Ravioli di Portebello. I have not had it but it sounds so good!

I love shrimp and am always on the lookout for new ways to prepare it. If you need a recipe for the white sauce, I suggest using recipe #21301 as it's the exact recipe that I use in making white sauce. I suggest serving this with a Greek salad and bread.

My brand new husband described this pie as his mother made it. I developed the recipe from his description and the entire family relished it throughout our 52 years of marriage.

This is one of those soups that warms the body and the soul. Served with fresh bread, it doesn't get much better than this.
