This is very easy to put together and pretty tasty in my opinion! I came up with it when one night when I thought chicken cordon bleu sounded good, but only had cubed chicken on hand. You can use shredded cheese instead of sliced, add broccoli or more meat, use homemade biscuits... it's pretty forgiving. These are just the ingredients I happened to have on hand that day, but feel free to adjust to suit your tastes.

    Recipe #108579

My mother gave me this recipe. She found it while clipping coupons. It is from S&W. This is the best stew I have ever eaten and my family requests me to make it quite frequently. It has become a "comfort food" for us. Perfect to make if you have leftovers after baking a large turkey or chicken. Can be made vegetarian or vegan if desired.

    Recipe #114558

This is from Menus4Moms. I think it sounds pretty good; plus easy, quick and done in one pan! Another perk: the macaroni goes in uncooked.

    Recipe #140398

This pasta dish has enough goodies in it to make an entire meal. Despite having soy sauce as an ingredient, it does not taste Asian. I like to use a pasta such as medium shells that will hold onto the vegetables, not a spaghetti-type. Preparation time does not include 30 minutes for soaking sun-dried tomatoes.

This is AWESOME pasta sauce! Much different than alfredo-ish sauces, which I don't like. This one could be healthy, depending on which ingredients you use. I found the original version of this in a cookbook I received as a gift, but this is very different from that recipe.

    Recipe #36419

This looks so easy, because your using a bag of flavored noodles. Quick seafood main dish!

    Recipe #79379

This spicy Asian inspired dish is absolutely delicious. I saw this made on one of Ina Garten's cooking shows and immediately HAD to try it. I omitted the oil called for in the original recipe and replaced it with water instead. I also gave alternate ingredients to replace the honey as a sweetener in order to make this vegan friendly. Hope you like it!

Quick Italian vegetable soup with orzo pasta and plenty of vegetables, it's a whole meal in a bowl that's fancy enough for company! All you need are crusty rolls and Italian gelato for dessert. Cool days, changing leaves, satisfying soup...mmmm, I love fall. From the newspaper.

This flavorful pasta dish pairs shrimp or chicken with noodles and a peanutty sauce. I don't know how authentic it is, but I do know it's creamy and delicious! And as an added bonus, it's low-fat. This recipe is from Looneyspoons by Janet and Greta Podleski.

We snack on these during football and basketball season when the games are on TV.

Nice, fresh-tasting dish that comes together in a snap. Make it even quicker by preparing the chile lime butter ahead of time. It can be made 1 day ahead, covered and chilled. Just make sure to bring to room temperature before using. I like this served atop jasmine rice. -adapted from Gourmet

    Recipe #109163

This recipe came from a package of noodles. Serve it with a salad and you have a meal.

This is so easy, and so good. No browning, just put the chicken in and pour the sauce on, and bake!! The tarragon makes it an elegant entree.

    Recipe #126474

A traditional recipe with all the Greek spices adapted to 20 minute cooking time. (Even tastier as leftovers!)

    Recipe #148770

This is from the Hamilton Bed and Breakfast Inn, and is their specialty recipe. I hope you enjoy! This recipe is Southern, using red onions and cheddar cheese. It's also made alot in the Northeast, where they make alot of cheddar cheese.

    Recipe #125058

Great for those days when you stagger home from work and need dinner on the table fifteen minutes ago. So simple I'm a little embarrassed to call it a recipe. Tasty AND low fat.
