Yummy and quick - adapted from a Super Food Ideas magazine from 2004

Recipe #259978

I got this from an Italian co-worker after having it at a work pot-luck. The flavor is really intense, and this can be served as either a side-dish or a meatless meal-in-itself. You can really use any type of pasta you prefer, I first had it with spaghetti, so that's always my preference. Really easy recipe. Edited: Psst.. please use real garlic, not the chopped stuff in the jar.. I repeat - use FRESH GARLIC, not the stuff in the jar, else you will be doomed to a bland result with no flavor. If made as directed, you will have a robustly flavorful pasta dish!

Well the title says it all :) If you're a fan of pasta, vegetarian or not, please give this a go. It's so easy and unbelievably tasty, you'll never eat out for pasta again! I got tired of pasta that wasn't quite tasty enough and experimented during my early 20s, and came up with this. It doesn't have any onion or meat in it, so it's easy to serve it up to lots of people! Garlic bread and salad and red wine go so well with this.

This recipe was given to me by my sister. It is the perfect recipe for a last minute meal, a cheap meal or a very tasty meal.

Recipe #265832

This is so good and so easy. I always have stuff on hand to make this recipe. It comes together so quickly for a weeknight meal. I have served this to guests before and they thought I went to a lot of trouble because it was so good! :)

Recipe #271442

So incredibly simple, but fun and different. This always suprises people the first time I make it for them, but is always a favorite to those who've had it.

Recipe #285492

A deceptively simple, classic Mediterranean recipe from one of my fave chefs. Even better if you make fresh pasta, but dried pasta is super, too.

Recipe #280722

This may be just about the easiest dinner you'll fix your family! It is low on ingredients and high in flavor. These make a great appetizer too. I have even served these at parties!

Recipe #279399

Comes out crispy and everyone loves them! Easy and quick to throw together.

Another one of my creations that is always asked to make again and again. A definite kid pleaser, and guy pleaser as well. You can add additional items of your liking like black olives, guacamole, jalapenos, etc.

Recipe #296222

This recipe comes from Chatelaine Food Express Quickies and only has 2 ingredients.

I have been making this simple dish for years. It only contains 2 main ingredients but it is full of flavor.

Recipe #303656

I love mushrooms and I am a big fan of stroganoff so this sounds like a good combo to me.

Recipe #306742

This is a recipe that can use any cooked beans. I do not use tomatoes but tomato sauce and I use fresh corn off the cob mixed with butter and evaporated milk. You can use canned whole kernel corn, drained and do the same with it. I have refined this over the years. This version is what I use. You can add 1/2 pound of cooked ground meat if desired. I serve meatless with fresh tomatoes and fresh orange slices. I like this because it tastes like a filled tamale without the work of filling, binding and steaming all of the filled husks. Note: I increased milk to 1/3 to 1/2 cup based on reviewer comments. You could double the batter base and topping and cook about 10 minutes longer.

Recipe #307516

A very easy recipe to be enjoyed any time of day. This is one of those emergency meals to make when you are low on energy or prep time. Delicious! From The One Armed Chef Cookbook. You can add any leftover vegetables that you have along with the cheese. Spinach is particularly good in this recipe. Note: in the pictures I posted I added 1 c. frozen chopped spinach and 1/2 lb. browned sausage and it still fit nicely in a deep dish pie crust, but it does have to bake longer. Enjoy!

Don't want to deal with pastry? Looking for a fast fix? Here you go! Can't get any easier than this. You can also get creative: add bacon crumbles, shallots, spices, buttered breadcrumb topping, vary the cheese, etc. But you gotta have good tomatoes. Although, come to think of it, very well-drained canned diced (fire-roasted?) tomatoes might work in the off-season. Never tried it. The recipe came from another website, don't remember which one.

Recipe #312478

I got this recipe from a mystery book by Phillip R. Craig. The chicken practically falls off the bone. It has become a family favorite.

Recipe #139823

For a simple, easy supper just add a garden salad and crusty bread.

Recipe #25711

This is a favourite recipe that I found years ago in our local newspaper.

Recipe #64635

Recipe is originally from the Food Network courtesy of Rachael Ray, but I tweaked it to fit our tastes. Very quick & easy shrimp recipe that's done on the stovetop. If your tastes desire spicy & garlic, then this recipe is just for you.
