One of my favorite places to visit every summer is Mackinac Island. Two of my favorite things to do while on the island is ride my bike around the perimeter of the island and then walk through town going in and out of all of the fudge shops looking for free samples. I'm so happy I found this recipe so I can make my own fudge between visits up north. I bought this recipe booklet called Mackinac Fudge Recipes for my cookbook swap partner. I hope she doesn't mind me posting a few of the recipes here on Zaar.

I've searched and searched. I wanted a chewy sugar cookie. Finally found this online by a woman name gale and wow. Hubby and kids just love it, although this isn't for shaping. Just simple round chewy cookies. Yum.

These are just like the ones my mom used to make and always come out PERFECT! I've been accused of buying them at the store and passing them of as my own.

    Recipe #211272

This recipe was given to me by a friend many years ago. If you need something to satisfy a sweet tooth, this will do it! I prefer using a smaller pan (71/2X11) that results in a thicker bar, but they do take longer to cool!

    Recipe #206969

This is the authentic recipe. I've had this for years. My grandkids love it. Its very easy to make.

"I work in our school office and help my husband on our hog and cattle farm. When I find time to bake a treat, I like it to be special. The creamy filling gives traditional peanut butter cookies a new twist." By Debbie Kokes. From Taste of Home.

Easy homemade candy in your crock pot!

I copied this recipe off the back of a jar of marshmallow cream. The recipe was for chocolate-walnut fudge. I just change the flavor of the candy chips for different flavors. It is a no fail recipe and always comes out the way you think fudge should.

I got this recipe off the Pillsbury site. I haven't tried it yet, but intend too. My family loves maple. It states the total time from start to finish is 4 hours and 20 minutes. That includes chill time.

The family has alot of good but different textured and flavor sugar cookies. This recipe is another proven sugar cookie we all love to eat.

This recipe was on the inside of a birthday card sent to my daughter back in 1982. My family enjoyed them immensely. Sometimes I would put 1/2 a bag of milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips in them for a nice change. Try them you might like them. :)
